I love you too Man!
Ed. W. started Mass Muscle in Feb. 1992 when everything was VHS(!) and I made a few hundred videos with him, about half of which I was in the vids, and many of the others behind the camera.
I also worked with the legendary Kandor separately, and we worked with Heather Fine briefly, got ScissorVixens started with the well-known Drew, and did a few other indies.
To quote Captain Kirk's last words, "It was fun!"
But we all considered Bill Wick to be the "Godfather," the man who did it first.
Tom grabbed that torch and ran proudly with it in the 80's.
Nowadays there are few barriers to entry... if I were still an assistant producer, I'd be pissed. Instead I'm impressed, and smiling.

Mass Muscle featured a little guy named 'Luis' over the years. He was one of my favorite co-stars. He was really small & flexible, so he was a perfect pretzel for the women. And he basically never put up any offense, which is a dynamic I always liked.. His petite build contrasted w/Karla Nelsen was a nice look. They had some fun matches..

(Galaxy Advisory), any memories or whereabouts of 'Luis'. I hope the guy is doing well. I figure he's gotta be 50 years old now..

Pioneers of mixed wrestling, how about Mildred Burke, Judell Dulong and Joan Wise all started in the 70’s I believe.

99, Mildred Burke was an awesome pioneer.. I don't know if your sentence was worded right, but Burke was famous in the 1940s, not '7os..

There were also videos from Triumph Studios, California Supreme and Stanton back in the 70s.

Thanks but I was talking more about the mixed matches in her wrestling school which took place in the 70s and 80s not Mildreds wrestling career

Mildred Burke started producing mixed matches in 1973 & 74 at her wrestling school. Judell DuLong was in one of the early mixed matches, she started very early like 73 with a few pro wrestlers she knew, then she went to the likes of Sandy Ford and then to Panama Franco and Warstar, and eventually she ended up with Sue Sexton, and Cheryl Day who made a lot of mixed matches, Lena Blair, and more. She knew mixed matches would be the easy sell, and she combined them with actually teaching wrestling, those gals, all of them could give and take bodyslams and kicks, they were good.

Special Interests and Creative Films were created in 1976 & 1979 by Dave Randall and Bill Jentz. Both companies ceased producing films in 2006 and as of 2018 not material is now availabe. Both concentrated on mainly mixed videos. Later on SI branched out adding Fem Fem, Lift videos(they did the first one) boxing, and fist fights. Over 30 years it was my pleasure to produce these films. Hope you enjoyed them. It is fun to go back and see how the films progressed from super 8 to downloads.
