And finally the scene comes to an end, though not decisively. The boss of the ninjas (in white) turns up and grabs The Sacred Sword of What-Not from the heroine's wall. He's brought along another bunch of ninjas for her to fight, but this time she's discarded the weapons. So she destroys them in hand-to-hand combat with punches, elbows and kicks.

But by the time she's defeated them all, Big Boss has nipped out of the fire exit into the alley behind where his limo is waiting. And when she gets there, he's already speeding off into the distance (not shown).

There was one other female fight scene on that disc, and here it is. This time the opponent is female too - and at last it's a properly-drawn comics villainess character [1]. You know what I mean: Perfect Tits - CHECK! Tiny Waist - CHECK! Spray-On Costume - CHECK! And, of course, arse cheeks you could park a bike wheel in.

Anyway, it begins as a swordfight, with the heroine disadvantaged by two blades to one [2-7]. But it doesn't take long for her to knock one of her opponent's swords away, where it sticks in the ground [8-11]. Now what's she doing? [12] Ah - maybe the DC Comics Cameltoe Inspectors have arrived. Nothing to see here guys, it's just a bit of crotch-to-the-fore gymnastics [13].

Then, soon after balancing the Sharp Pointy Things score at 1-1, Lady Shiva (for it is she, I've just discovered) gives hers away by throwing it at the villainess [14]. Dumb move. We've just seen her gymnastic ability, and she uses it to avoid the thrown weapon [15-17]. So we leave it there, with swordswoman vs unarmed opponent [18]. Will she do that 'Only-In-The-Movies' thing and discard the weapon; insisting they fight on an even footing - femma a femma?

Like hell she will. The villainess started with a one-blade advantage so she'll carry on like that. But not for long! At the risk of losing four fingers if she gets the angle wrong, Lady Shiva karate chops the side of the sword, smashing it in two (plus some tiny fragments). Incidentally, if you could hear audio with screenshots, you'd be listening to Kelly Hu, the voice of the character.

And so, as we finally switch to unarmed combat, there's no contest. The sexy bad girl is soon flat on her back, with blood trickling out of her mouth to indicate that it's over for her. Which brings to an end the contributions from Batman: Soul Of The Dragon. Interestingly (or not ) when I looked at the IMDb page, the first reviewer commented that the whole thing would have worked so much better if they'd left Batman out of it altogether. I couldn't agree more.
