I believe it is a type of choke hold.

It's a shin choke performed from your back, it's hard to explain in words - I'd advise youtubing it as a visual reference is much better!

It can also be modified into a foot choke called a locoplata, if you're into that sort of thing!

LOL this is embarrassing because I was a martial artist for over 25 yrs, "gogoplata" was just not a part of my art (kempo). Now I wish it HAD been. Thanks for the clarification, gentlemen.
