Default Swords and Weapons Mixed Battles?

Hi guys! So, I know there is a thread in the Pictures section dedicated to victory poses with swords and weapons, and so I was just curious how many people out there like to see mixed battles features sword duels or other weapons fights.

How do you guys feel about weapons battles? Do you have a favorite weapon to see in action in a mixed duel? Do you like to see ladies with large weapons (spears, broadswords, 2-handed axes) or with smaller, faster weapons (rapier, small swords, knife)?

Fantasy setting? Historical setting? Modern?

Thanks for any response and input, guys. After a big stage combat refresher seminar this weekend, we're curious to try some mixed fights like this! @[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

Don't like weapons at all. I prefer to see a women who is more skilled than her opponent take him on and win due to her comat skills, and the physical contact provides an element of eroticism.

Hmm. I did heavy fighting in the SCA for about 10 years. Fought in the melees at Pennsic War for about 10 years. SCA heavy armour and rapier protective gear just doesn't have *quite* the "mainstream" sex appeal, given the high level of cover-up involved. Plus, during the fighting action, no faces clearly show in either SCA heavy fighting or SCA rapier (bargrills, closed face helms, and fencing masks). But also, no live steel in SCA heavy fighting.

It's *sometimes* hard to tell a mixed fight from a M/M fight or F/F fight under run-of-the-mill SCA heavy weapons armour conditions. But hey, I think gear fans and fetishists could get a kick out of it, sure!
