I've trailed this one for long enough now so it's time I put in the effort to bring it to the Board properly. It's the sitcom scene - but that doesn't mean you'll find it funny. In the edgy new world of British comedy, there has to be pathos too. I think it's because the more depressing they can portray one scene, the funnier the lighter next one should seem by comparison.

And so here we have today's subject. She's not a martial arts trained fantasy female fighter though. She's just an ordinary twenty-something woman with anger issues of the type that cause her to bully and physically abuse those she loves. Let's see her in action.

1, 2, 3. The star of the show is with her in a public library when she goes mad and throws him to the ground. We can already see from the state of his face that this can't be the first time he's felt her wrath.
4, 5, 6. And here the harridan shows why few cues in British pubs have proper tips on the end; it's because they rarely get used for playing pool and soon have their ends knocked off when they fracture someone's eye socket.
7. In close up, we get to see the male victim's hands covered in bandages too. Maybe she's been holding them down on the cooker hotplate for a while.
8, 9. She flies off the handle again. What has he done to provoke such anger? Slept with her sister? Spent all their savings on drugs and gambling? No - he just answered a couple of Pub Quiz questions incorrectly.

Phew! That really was depressing wasn't it? So let's test my theory that the 'lighter' moments should now seem funnier by comparison; this time he's simply being humiliated - trapped between her legs in front of all his friends - rather than suffering the cuts, bruises and broken bones of domestic violence.

Having grabbed her boyfriend in a headlock and used it to throw him across the pub floor, she jumps on his stomach and then slides to the side where she can torture his throat between her crossed ankles. After some time, whatever initially triggered the anger episode seems to switch off and she releases him.

I know it's not typical subject material for the Board and some may find it in bad taste. But at least it's fiction - which I prefer to the "Great stuff guys - here's a real video of a guy being beaten half to death by his wife and her sister!!!"

By the way, I'd like to thank you not just for your contributions in these threads (which are often great), but also for providing the name of the source material when asked.

A lot of people who write these sorts of narratives will zealously guard the source material. We do appreciate the narratives. But many of us also like to see for ourselves. So thanks again.

And many thanks to you for your kind comments. I guess some people may wonder why I wait to be asked, and why I still rarely actually give the titles when I respond.

For one thing, it's a way of judging the level of interest and stimulating conversation. There are some wonderful people on here who regularly hit 'thanks' as a way of recognising my efforts to share the contributors' load. And for that I'm very grateful. But getting comments as well, even if they're just requests for IDs, shows that people are keen to find out more about the content.

I think I've said before that giving the IMDb# provides an accurate direct link, whereas the title may not be clear or unique - especially when so much of my stuff isn't in English. And with some productions being so rare, do we really want the title to attract outsiders who are searching generally on Google?

Occasionally I deliberately keep things to myself, but only with good reason - for example in an attempt to protect an actress's current identity in the way we do with former session girls who have moved on.

Now here's a bit of fun with a former Bond villain. Thirty years ago (yes, really that long) JB pushed him into a compression chamber and we saw his head explode and splatter onto the pressurised cabin's porthole - causing a bit of a problem with the traditional Bond 'Kids Welcome' cinema certificate I recall.

But no such problems here. He's just trying to get his head out of the clutches of his drunken girlfriend's scissor-happy legs. Sadly, she's so pi**ed he succeeds rather too easily for our liking.

REQUEST DAY!

Looking through my collection, I keep seeing Mainstream DVDs with scissor scenes that are too well-known to be worth posting in my 'Photostory' style of images with descriptions. If you haven't already seen the action in the cinema or on TV, the videos are probably all over the web - and this Board too. (Think of Blade Runner, Diamonds Are Forever, Mortal Kombat etc.)

But I'm often a poor judge of what is and isn't widely known, so here's a list of a few scenes I've avoided so far because of their popularity. It's not everything scissor-related that I own; just a selection of DVDs I haven't already posted in the picture threads. I'm not trawling through You Tube or the Video Forum for all these titles, so it's up to you if you want to search for them in video format first.

The message is simple: Are there any of these scissor scenes you'd like me to dig out and present in my usual way? (If I do find an active video version in the forum I'll provide a link to that post instead.)

American Tigers [1996] (Cynthia Rothrock)
Bitch Slap [2009]
Bod Squad [1974]*
Brick Mansions [2013]
Class Of Nuke-Em High [1986]

Commando Fury [1986]
Derailed [2002]
Extraction [2015] (Gina Carano)
Fatal Conflict [1999]
Gun Woman [2013] (Asami)

Kill 'Em All [2017]
Long Pig [2008]*
Menno's Mind [1999]
The Package [2012] (Monique Ganderton)
Pride & Prejudice & Zombies [2016]

Raze [2013]
Sexy Killer [2009]
Skin Deep [1989]
Slip [2006]
Tank Girl [1995]

Ultimate Hero [2016]
Wave [2015]

* aka Virgins Of The Seven Seas; Enter The Seven Virgins; Karate Kusse Blonde Katzen etc.

The next one isn't exactly a quickie, but this thread seems to be the best place for it now. I was hoping to bring plenty of action from this Vietnamese Vixen's many fights and post the scenes elsewhere. But it took three different media players just to get the DVD Menu Screen active, and then navigation proved about as easy as trying to steer the Titanic away from that iceberg. So I stayed focussed mainly on a single scissor.

But you don't want to hear the troubles I have in bringing you this stuff, so I'll get on with it. Today's exhibit has the rather lengthy title 'Anatomy of a Flying Headscissor Neckbreak Kill', which hopefully tells you all you need to know. But first of all, here's our heroine in the daytime before everything went dark on the set [1]. As you can see, her lovely, long, lithe legs are designed more for face-kicking than watermelon squashing.

Moving onto the scene itself, it's obviously going to be one of those far too familiar whirly-scissor-throw thingies that all action babes get to do these days. But this example is by far the best I've seen, so let's take a close look.

When thirtysomething Hollywood actresses and their stunt doubles try this, they release the hold instantly to make it look like they're throwing the guy (who's really jumping into a self-propelled forward roll). But not this Asian chick. She attacks her opponent arse-first and keeps her thighs wrapped tightly around his neck. Once he's off-balance, she launches herself towards the ground, with him still upright and helpless in her firm grip. It really is a thing of beauty.

Patience! I haven't finished yet!

Added after 17 minutes:

And finally she brings the move to its natural conclusion. If you've followed it closely, you'll see he's been in a tight reverse scissorhold throughout. So once they land on the ground, she can snap his neck backwards with the rear of her upper thighs whilst also sitting on his face. Bravo!

The last four images are a bonus. They're from an earlier attempt to choke the same opponent, but she wasn't so successful using this hands and shin combo.

If nobody links to the video in the meantime, I may have another attempt at capturing her other fights (once I've regained my own patience).
