The meeting ended in a draw for which the verdict is questionable. But the judges had to declare a winner, and preferred to reward the perfect defensive ability of the woman rather than the more aggressive man. They could have done the opposite, but this is not important. It is important that meetings such as this show that a woman can be competitive in this sport at a high level, considering that it is an official tournament and the male is an expert fighter. Lora Hallock is one of the best female fighter in this sport, and has won many tournment.
