Raw strength, not at all. The 19 year old male should be much stronger. Grabbling ability, that's another story. I remember when I was young and had sessions with girls 10 years older than me that kicked my ass.

A 19 year old boy or girl? Most 19 year old boys are so full of testosterone and youthful exuberance that very few 27 year old women would be in the same category, strength-wise. I agree with qwertyuio that grappling ability could be a quite different.

Agree with that, got totally dominated by a 28 year old woman who was 5'5" 120lbs and I was 21yo 5'10" 140lbs.

Not sure why you're asking the question (or why I'm bothering to answer it!)..., but most 19 year old guys are considerably stronger than the same height 27 (or 28) year old woman - isn't that obvious?
In fact, most men are stronger than women, full stop. Obviously there are exceptions...

Man, some of the questions being asked here are getting more and more silly.

The answer I guess is 'it depends'. Does he lift? Does she lift? Bodies come in all shapes and sizes, so there isn't gonna be a straight answer. Surely common sense and circumstance will give you the result. I know some nearly 30 year old women that would be stronger than near 20 year old guys, and vies versa (going purely by natural strength).

Is there anyway the mods can crack down on questions like 'who would win/who is stronger' threads? I don't mean to sound like I'm being nasty or anything, because I'm not trying to be but... do these questions really need their own threads?
