Tomorrow another rest day and then the final three starts on Friday! Starting with CAR-GIR and also FIR-CAR. My prediction is that Magnus is going as far as he can even to press water from a stone. And Anish, after he first won from Magnus a long time ago in WaZ at his debut, after that he started playing worse and worse versus Magnus and even offered quick draws with white. He will not get an easy draw!

Indeed and the tournament leader meets Firouzja after he has met Carlsen, so could still go anywhere. But his h6 today was marvellous already, before that final blow!

It's nice to see Anish in such good form. Also I think play against Magnus at the end of the tournament works in his favour. A MC-AG on first round had meant tons of trolling twits and focus lost. And, despite what Giri seems to think, when he's not playing "out of the board", he performs better.

Great day for Anish again, drawing Magnus with black. Episenko gets behind but Jorden might join the poursuivants! Tomorrow Giri-Firouzja and all Saturday to follow it!

Well, Tata Steel will not be Swedish, at least not anytime soon!

Added after 1 8 minutes:

Don't really understand Firouzja's strategy, he is playing a 'fighting for a draw' system in the French, I would say.
