Default Werner Sonntag verstorben
Der große alte Mann der deutschsprachigen Mixed-Szene Werner Sonntag ist verstorben.

Er war Journalist, Marathonläufer und ehemaliger Herausgeber der "Amazone" - der einzigen Informationsquelle in deutscher Sprache für unseren Fetisch vor der Erfindung des Internets. Außerdem hat er das Buch "Kampfeslust" veröffentlicht - DAS Standartwerk über diesen Fetisch. Ich persönlich habe ihm auch viel zu verdanken da ich ohne ihn niemals Zugang zum damaligen "Sportring" mit privaten Mixedkämpfen bekommen hätte. Interessanterweise wird in den Nachrufen nur auf seine Journalistische Tätigkeit und als Marathonläufer verwiesen, seine Bemühungen aus Autor der Amazone und des Buches Kampfeslust findet dort keine Erwähnung.

He self-published the book - I borrowed it from a friend at the time, but even for native german speakers it was extremely difficult to read because of his writing style. The book had over 600 pages of text with only a few historical sketches and photos. Maybe his son still has some book copies in the legacy. Sometimes single book copies have been offered on Amazon.

A group of a few wrestling fans which invited some female wrestlers for catfight and mixed. Some videos have been made for Belgian Fighting Woman and As/Beka Film. Due to financial disputes with the producer it was discontinued in 2002. The mixed matches were all private, some of the catfights are still available from AS Film.

The leading man was Gert (the ref). I wrestled Sonia Fernandes, Elisabeth Singer, Tanja, Monica from London, Britta Inga Olson from Sweden, Veronica/aka Doris and some more or less known girls from Poland, Czech Republic and Germany.
