I'm so sad that Jeslen lost. But great fighters learn from their losses and I know she'll be back. I can't wait to wear her t-shirt!

This is insane. She weighed in at 145.8 lbs, and in her instagram she shot a short film, 10 hours after, that showed she weighed 163.6 (!!) . I can’t understand how this is not super dangerous . Those weight cuts are horrible. Naturally I rooted for her and disappointed that she lost.

It was a disappointing result, hopefully she is back in the cage sooner rather than later . I do enjoy watching her fight !

Weight cuts like that are super, super common. And yea, it can be super dangerous. There is a sports "magazine" style show on HBO called Real Sports, and they had a segment about weight cuts specifically in the UFC. It's pretty scary, to be honest.
