In this italian novel published in 1949 there is a macho guy (Who anyone in the city call "Bob"), who cheates on many girls who live there. In the end they have a revenge on him: beat him up (punches, kicks some in the balls), strip him, tie him and take him naked to the streets of the city while they laugh at his small penis. Lol, I guess Pratolini was a pioneer in these femdom fantasies for that age. Director Valerio Zurlini made a movie based on that novel but the end is censored, not so esplicit as the book. Did anyone else read it?

Interesting. Never heard about it.
Here's the 1950s adaption (awful quality): [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] Is the ending completely omitted here? Just checked and aside from this film, there seems to be a TV movie based on it as well, from 2007 - [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] p.s. moved to Female Domination Discussion subforum.

Yes Zweig, the movie is complete. But as you may see there is no trace of "femdom" revenge in the movie. They just expose him as a liar and a cheater. The 2007 tv movie is a bit more explicit, since the cheater is seen beaten up, tied, and exposed naked on a stagecoach through the streets of the city. But Zurlini's movie is better in quality since he was a great director. |
