Default Sessions: the good, the bad and the ugly

Sessions: the good, the bad and the ugly.
I was reading the article about Ariel X and how some guys asking for "more" in her sessions
was one of the main reasons she decided on retirement.
It made think of the times I felt "It is enough" after just a year, and just wanted to share it.
In my case, I do not have a problem when a session moves toward more sensual in nature,
specially if it happens organically ( naturally and without much effort or planning and is not forced. )
While so far the positives outnumber the negatives here is my point of view on both:
The Good:
-Financial: I charge $120 an hour for Jiu-Jitsu private class, in a session I easily double that.
-Meeting some friendly and respectful guys/gals.
-Getting to practice my Grappling moves on someone new every time.
-The sensual sessions can be fun and exciting (depending on mutual chemistry)
-Finally feeling admired and appreciated by someone who values a strong and skilled lady
(instead of being seen as a "freak" by regular folks).
-Clients that go straight to the point, make deposits and show up on time.
The Bad:
-Not knowing who is walking in the door. (sometimes the surprise is a positive one).
-The back and forth e-mails answering questions that are already on my profile.
-Guys who write without intention of booking an appointment.
-Answering e-mails with the right responses, never to hear a response back.
-Guys asking for discounts. (sometimes I do because I am too nice).
-Guys who "can't" "don't want" to make deposits.
The Ugly:
-Trolls
-Losers pretending to want to make an appointment just to play games.
-Mental cases, obsessive-compulsive/stalker guys (by e-mail or in person).
-Super-aggressive men without regard for safety.
-Guys that make an appointment and cancel the night before/same day with some lame excuse.
(I usually get ready the day before, make sure my schedule is free for the day of the
session, eat accordingly, go to bed earlier, organize, clean/Sanitize mats , cancel
my jiu-jitsu class, personal hygiene, choose outfit/make-up etc.)
-Repeat clients that start nice and polite, but as they get confident, their personality
switches and show their true colors.
-Cheap guys (there is a customer which I won't see anymore, rich guy, but super stingy,
always want me to drive to him, an hour each way, never recognizes gas expense and
I have to pay parking out of my own pocket, because he won't, also asks for discounts
and extras !!!)
-Someone without personal hygiene.
-Bad communication.
This is a short list, but cover pretty much most of my experience, The "Good" is what keeps
me going , the "Bad" is what makes me think "Quit"
Thank you for reading

I'm a bit surprised @[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] hasn't gone reference only yet, she'd be entitled to it given her background. That should deal with a fair bit of the negatives. Also as she's admitted herself she can be too nice in certain ways, but the key is realizing setting email limits and that sort of thing aren't bitchy, they're a way to keep your life orderly. The vast majority of questions can be handled by chatting for 2 minutes in person, emails should be for the very basics and requesting something like an outfit she might need to prepare before you get there.

I do get a lot of first timers (possible due to my price being lower), not sure for how long I will be around the session scene (I may open a Jiu-Jitsu Academy when I get my black belts 2-3 years from now), what I may do when I have enough repeat clients, is to limit who I accept and mostly session we those I know and have a good experience with. Like I have mentioned before, income is not a priority, since I have my Artist day job and this is just a bit extra for training expenses etc.
Four guys send me references in the past, 3 ladies never answered my e-mails, the only one that answered in a quick and polite way was the amazing Yasmin.

Hello Anji. Do you have any specific examples/stories of this?(while keeping their names and extremely personal info private, of course)

I love to share, and of course will never reveal any specifics about a client: there was for example a guy that started very polite, by the second and third sessions he became increasingly demanding, went a little too extreme with the grappling and tried to remove my clothing by force etc, next time he contacted me for a session, I just blocked him, hopefully he got the message
Another one, started well, but the more we sessioned, the more he wanted: more time, less money, go to dinners, talk for hours , even asking me to spend the night ! those are just two examples...

Your list almost parallels the perils of the dating world.

Thanks for your perspective. It shows both the beauty and the messiness of human experience.
The part about the pushy and demanding guys is not so surprising but really disappointing. It seems logical that it is more difficult then for you to be trustful, despite your generous personality.
About the emails, it is clear that being straight to the point is essential for everyone when booking a session. If not, this is so much wasted energy.

Anji,
Thank you for contributing so many insights to this forum. You have added invaluably to the discussions here.
I hope that the positives of sessions outweigh the negatives for a while longer for you. When it is time to step away, you will certainly leave the scene better than you found it.

Stymie is correct, I find session wrestling a great deal like dating. Or batting in baseball sometimes a guy hits a homerun and sometimes you strike out.
