I'm skeptical too but the huge size and strenght difference alone doesn't prove it's not competitive, that's a logical fallacy.

Ahahah, I'm thinking to buy some to see them actually, I'm very curious.
Altough from the previews they don't seem that intense honestly, but previews can be very misleading so I hope I'm wrong.

I’ve seen a couple of their videos. They’re better than most, and they may have produced one I missed that was genuine. But if you want to see truly competitive watch DWW Jana vs Richard, FD Claire vs Lukas, etc.

The producer is, I think, a [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register], so maybe they can answer the question themself. =) The ones I saw looked like they were pretty competitive yeah.

That's a fair comment and sort of funny actually. He does look like Lou lol. But she's not exactly a 120 lb model she was a little thicker closer to 130. But Point well taken it was a definite and significant size mismatch

Yes the guy had a 70lb muscle advantage. compared to his first match against Veve he definitely came back in a lot better shape. To me he looks like he's on roids to be honest. But it's pretty apparent he doesn't have a lot of submission skills or fighting experience.

The girl is session wrestler magpie. She's a fairly well-known wrestler. I haven't really seen her wrestle before so I can't really speak to her abilities but she gets good reviews. It appears she's definitely got skills from watching this one video. if nothing else she's pretty damn tough. She gets thrown around and slammed down really hard on multiple occasions and keeps coming back, so I give her a lot of credit for that.

Yeah apparently he's "the spoiler". I hope he doesn't perceive this thread as an accusation or unfair criticism. I really love the idea of a legit competitive site, I just find myself skeptical about some of the things I saw.

I think this has been a fair discussion about AMW videos. Many sides have been presented. And I think they do a pretty damn good job with their matchups and their content, filming sone pretty legit matches.I do very much like the idea of more legit competitive wrestling as well. Which right now I don't think there's a lot of in general in the industry.

I'm curious In the flesh what you saw that you didn't like? Genuinely asking and not disagreeing with you or saying you're wrong . I'm just curious your thoughts because Ive definitely not seen all the videos, not even half of them. So it's not like I'm an expert.

Well it's not that I don't like it, I was just skeptical at the idea that every match was "100% real", meaning both competitors were trying their hardest to win. I linked a few matches earlier in this thread that gave me doubts, as well as the fact that the spoiler (who has a BJJ purple belt and weighs 235 pounds) has a record of 15-11 which seems extremely unlikely. I won't name names, but I've spoken to people on this forum in private who have BJJ experience and have sessioned with many formidable women and gotten the better of them.

That said, I can't be too confident about any of this because I've never seen a full video, only previews and the info that's on the site. I'm sure it's possible that some of the matches could be 100% real.

Probably their biggest size difference is the 6’0, 230 lb. Spoiler against 5’2, 115 lb. Low Cat.

I think that this all boils down to a matter of self perception. For some guys, a woman who has a very strong scissor hold would be considered a very competitive wrestler, same for someone who has an almost inescapable SGP even if their session was not at all competitive. It is somewhat similar to having 2 people evaluate a pair of stereo speakers to determine if they provide sound closest to that of a live music performance. One person may say that the speakers come close to a live performance and the other may say not at all.So for some guys, what is actually competitive is in the eye of the beholder.
