I regularly lose to older women (I am only 26 mind), but it's definitely more humiliating losing to someone younger. Although I guess I haven't experienced losing to a woman 40 years old plus... Having said that, it does depend what moves are used. For example, if a female managed to force me to smell or kiss her feet, I am gong to very humiliated regardless of their age.

I think it would definitely be more humiliating to lose to a bratty, younger girl. I like the scenario where an 18 or 19 year old college girl destroys and embarrasses a mid to late 20s guy in a wrestling match.

I have had both experiences, though probably a lot different from most other guys. I wrestled pretty rough with Maryse Manios who is in her 50's but probably about the most heavily muscled woman that age you will find and I got completely embarrassed. In the past I have wrestled with quite a few younger girls including family members and friends of theirs with mixed results that included some more very embarrassing moments. I have also seen other guys lose wrestling or grappling matches against much younger and much older females they were expected to beat rather easily. I may be a bad example because I'm not a really big guy but I think it's really embarrassing either way if you're really trying to win and you can't.

Yes, if you're a fit guy in his early to mid-thirties it would be humiliating to get overpowered and defeated by a girl of 17 or 18, but you'd at least have the "excuse" that she's young, limber and athletic.

But, learning that an average woman in her mid-fifties could handle you just as easily would also be mind blowing.

!
I absolutely agree with you, I always tought the same. It's humiliating both ways. Younger cause you are supposed to be more developed and even the stronger sex. older cause you are supposed to be stronger and more athletic for sure, especially since women tend to weaken much more than men after their first 40ies if they don't train very hard

I have had a very nice experience many years ago when staying for a week at my aunt's place. An old friend of hers was also visiting her. One day at lunch she mentioned that she used to practice self defense. That was very unusual at that time considering that she was in her early fifties. One day I asked her to do a demonstration and as the only male around I had to play the foe and attack her. She had a knowledge of self defense that you probably need years to get and I had my fair share of twists, holds and trips. That made a big impression on me (actually I still can recall her image) but I didn't feel humiliated at all.

I voted younger, mostly because I never get a second look in real-life from 20-year olds while even fit attractive women in their 40s and 50s flirt with me on a semi-frequent basis. I am right in the middle, age-wise.

It's a close call. A defeat from an older woman would make me feel deep respect and deference because I'm starting to know how hard it is to stay in shape as you get older.

From a younger woman, the feeling of being non-impressive and passe would be heightened. I'd imagine her feeling somewhat empowered by making an older guy kiss her feet in recognition of defeat.

I plan to put this to the test soon, older first actually.

Younger, for sure. I lose to a 13yr old girl on judo, and feel really embarrassed at times, especially when she controls me with a groundfight. I recently started a topic on it:

It's obviously different for me than a guy, but I'd probably lose to a 10-year-old girl.

How humiliating would that be?
