Wow, the results on this poll are really wild. People truly cannot agree on this question.

I think there's a few things to keep in mind:

1. A BJJ match is not a fight. Kayla is not trained to go for the eyes or the throat or to headbutt or bite.

2. Fights are chaotic, and only in complete mismatches is there a solid, clear answer to "who would win." One unexpected, clever, or lucky shot can totally change the course of a fight. She could certainly beat me 99 times out of 100, but perhaps there's that one time that I just launch my skull into her jaw at exactly the right time.

3. The poll doesn't set any parameters for the definition of "untrained men." Some people are going to be thinking "reasonably fit, able-bodied men from developed countries between ages 21 and 45" while others will be thinking think "a starving North Korean grandfather with kidney cancer is still an example of an untrained man."
1)Kayla is not a BJJ player, she is an MMA fighter with a Judo background.
And while you can argue that MMA is still not a real fight, it's close enough to it to give you a truly ginormous advantage over an untrained opponent in a empty handed, 1 vs 1, no rules fight like the old school vale tudo competitions and the thousands of videos of martial artists destroying untrained people in street fights and real life assaults that are scattered around the web prove.

Plus you don't exactly need training to figure out that if you are mounting someone you can poke his eyes if you need to and stuff like that.

2)With "what percentage can Kayla Harrison beat" I specifically referred to men she has at least a 50/50 chance of defeating, like I already pointed out in the opening post.

3)I also already said in the first post that "untrained men" refers to men who never trained in any martial art or combat sport, it's a pretty simple definition that should not cause any confusion.

Did you even read the first post or did you just read the title?
Because as you can see I already addressed your questions there.

And there's demographics we don't see often out in the world. 13% of men are disabled. 2% of men are profoundly mentally retarded. Do they count? I don't know, the poll doesn't say. When people think about "men," they tend to be thinking Chris Evans rather than Chris-Chan.
When I opened the poll I was thinking only about healthy men or at least about men who haven't health issues that severely impair their ability to fight, not about men who are disabled due to severe physical or mental diseases, I admit I didn't address that one but I took for it granted.

Join a BJJ class and watch white belt girls control and subdue fit healthy guys, who play rugby or football, while going at 5% effort.

Most BJJ black belts aren't at Kayla's technical level, and many wouldn't be at her physical level either .. There are so many levels to this – e.g. being a proficient black belt vs being a competitive, elite-level fighter

If that.

It's not really ethical for me to post videos from my club, but this girl will just camp out in top position with something sunk in, till the other guy tires or taps .. She'll roll for an hour and not break a sweat.

Same girl did her first competition a few months ago, and it's infinitely more work, because your opponent is trying to get into a position to do the same thing you are

If she, as a white belt, is rolling for an hour and not breaking a sweat then she needs to train with better partners. I roll with white belts quite often and let me tell you, I am breaking a sweat!

We don't include men who have combat training and she is the judo world champion and extremely muscular .she would totally destroy most men without training for sure .they won't know what happened as she pins men down with her expert techniques at great speed. and it will all happen so quickly they where unable to react .and they don't even know her powerful legs are knocking him out. by the time they know what happened it's too late. it's not like they even know how to get out of her hold .she takes everything into account .it all happened in a few seconds .these men are not ready to face her they don't know what to do they don't fight. but i do think there is a rare breed of freak men who will stand a chance. like massive 7 foot+ men who are too big to pin down if they are quick they can knock her out with punches.

I would like to add that even i don't count as an untrained man because i have a yellow belt in judo. but i have not trained for about 20 years since i was a little kid and i am a very weak guy. so imagine how weak most untrained men are.
