Very Early Joan Wise
I just found this on youtube. This is a very early Joan Wise film that must be from the 1970's when they were using b/w 8mm film. It's hard to tell which female is actually Joan, the wrestler or the ref? That's certainly her husband Larry getting his butt handed to him. This was before I met them and I had never seen this before. Enjoy.

This is one of the last, if not the last, film that Joan herself appeared in. She was in her early 40's around that time. Joan was incredibly strong in both the legs and upper body. Her scissors were brutal and she had a lot of upper body strength. She had been an Olympic quality swimmer in her youth in the butter fly. She was very strong. Re: Very Early Joan Wise
That's Diana Davis vs Larry. I used to have the transfer. Joan is the ref. The color version was available on Youtube as well. IMO, some of the early stuff was among the best, very authentic action. I envy you your matches against Roxanne and others. Seems like you wrestled Treena and Tracy.

Re: Very Early Joan Wise
I wrestled Treena four times. I think two of the films are on the Greeneyes site

Re: Very Early Joan Wise
Never knew why, but Joan just quit wrestling all of a sudden and concentrated on the filming. I begged her to do a rematch with me and she kept ho-humming and saying maybe but it never happened. Of all the films I've done, that match with Joan is still one of my favorites to watch.

Re: Very Early Joan Wise
I have a question Dave, was Cheeta actually Kat's sister or just Kat herself in a wig?
