Re: Making Videos More Affordable.
grapplinggirls is not worth a subscribe. Their website is about a year behind their c4s store. Many of their individually sold clips are good, but it's usually not worth buying considering how they con you with a fake description and one tiny deceptive thumbnail these days.
Utopia and SF are good. SV was good, but now they seem to have run out of muscular girls, it now looks to be mostly porn-star type girls. The clips may only be a minute long, but you can combine clips from individual videos pretty easily. As long as you don't care about "plot" or continuity (this is porn, fellas), it's fine. |

A fun sidebar to this, anyone who remembers what it was like pre-internet or when the internet was very young in the 90s, what you have access to today and today's prices are lower and the selection and free stuff is 100 times better than what I grew up with. Not even close. 25-40 dollars for a video from a catalog, and those videos were hit or miss. One time I paid $12 for a video and it was blank, the company was a fraud, they sold empty VCR Tapes. (that's why their prices were so low). Internet subscriptions used to be just pictures. A 5 or 10 second gif was considered worth downloading and saving. |

Re: Making Videos More Affordable.
"MixedWrestlingZone.com is a newer site - great videos. They have a clever approach, you can download all their older videos low-res, but to get only the recent videos are high-res. If you want everything in high-res you need to stay subscribed. My feeling is - wait for a video that really appeals to you and sign up. They have sister sites as well, all visible on their main site. One of their sister sites has naked lady wrestling - always a plus."
Thank you for mentioning us, I really appreciate it. It must be a while since you last visited MWZ. It's been exactly 13 months since I reuploaded MANY older videos in 720p and I started offering all the updates in 1080p. There are currently 62 videos in 1080p and 88 videos in 720p, bringing up the total number of full videos - NOT CLIPS - at 150 in FULL HD. Not counting this week's update. There is also a great number of videos in standard definition. Our pricing is reasonable by any standards, there is a variety of memberships either recurring or one time only, and there is no restriction whatsoever to download as many, if not ALL, the videos you wish. Those who wish to steam the videos and not download them, will be very pleasantly surprised in the next few months. I do firmly believe in memberships and I could not agree more with the views put forward from several members of the forum supporting this. A good number of "friends" and "colleagues" called me many things - none of them too flattering - when I started MWZ back in 2008, offering full videos and doing weekly updates with said videos. Most claimed that I would "fail" miserably. Nobody else did it back then, the members thing I mean, at least not offering the number of videos and pictures' sets I did. They just had a few low resolution pics and some clips. Most of them still follow this business practice and sell their videos in platforms like Clips4Sales. Well, I do not regret it for a moment. The business has been truly amazing and I have had a tremendous time since then. Best decision I ever made. I think it's the best deal for potential customers, not just my sites that is, but all sites that offer memberships and don't sell individual videos and pictures' sets. There is, however, a little bit of everything now, and I am very happy to see many producers and videos coming out every year. More than any other time before. I am very excited that our little wrestling fetish world has evolved greatly! Best regards to everybody! Theo |

Re: Making Videos More Affordable.
Theo, thank you for all that you do. I am a long term subscriber to your website, as well as scissorvixens, scissorfoxes and utopiaentertainment, and although I appreciate each for the content they provide, I consider your's the absolute best. Keep up the great work, and please, one request, introduce real knockouts once in awhile, if you can get them. These are the biggest turn on to me and I believe to others on here as well. Again, thank you.
Added after 15 minutes: LiceseToKill, I remember those days all too well. I used to purchase vhs tapes from a particular store in midtown Manhattan, from $40-60 a pop. What a waste of money, not to mention the anxiety of walking in and leaving the store, sneaking the tapes home, waiting for privacy to play them and eventually having to throw them out because I had no way of holding on to them long-term without seriously risking being discovered. I sure as hell don't miss those days. I probably spend $200 a month on videos and subscriptions. I don't sweat the money I spend because I havent sessioned in almost 10 years and I'm happy to help keep good producers in business Last edited by Jason052; 14-Mar-17 at 02:25. |

Re: Making Videos More Affordable.
Interesting topic. I have had paid subscriptions in the past - to Robin's site, Amateurwrestling (or something like that? what were they calle?), Steve's Wrestling Zone, and maybe another site or two. But I've also bought a number of clips from Clips4Sale, from producers including Fight Pulse, Ashley Wildcat, Gia Primo, Devon D'amo, etc.
Generally speaking, I prefer the subscription model. As someone else mentioned, individual vids can be hit or miss. That being said, there are some great producers that produce quality content that many of us count on. For those producers, individual clips are a safer bet. |

Re: Making Videos More Affordable.
No matter what company it is,everyone has to stop copying the work of the various producers and posting them on the internet.

Re: Making Videos More Affordable.
The way content is delivered has changed a lot over the past 10 years, but the way content is *created* has remained pretty much the same. Those fixed costs - including time - will continue to be a primary limiting factor on how little producers can charge for products in this niche-of-a-niche space. If it took an hour to film a solid 10-minute clip 10 years ago, it'll take that same hour to produce it today, even though rendering and download speeds are far greater than what they used to be.

Thanks for the answer and yes, it's been a while since I signed up. I'm due for a renew. Unfortunately, I sign up every year or 18 months or so, just cause it's what my budget allows, though I'll sometimes stay on for 2 months. I feel cheap staying on for just one month and downloading everything. I thought your model wouldn't worth either when I came across your site as there wasn't much incentive to stay a member. I'm glad it worked for you and you do have great videos. I'm a big fan. |

Can't think of anything more persuasive for members to extend their stay rather than weekly updates, provided that their financial means allow them to do so. Thank you for your support! |
