Any such statement you hear you can assume is to temporarily prop up the stock market by 5% to get it out of this free fall.

It's been an amazing couple of weeks. After moving all-in last week, I'm getting mostly out of the hospitality business this week. I don't know that I'll see one-week returns like that ever again in my life. I didn't time everything perfectly, but even a fool couldn't miss.

I believe a deeper recession is coming and that no amount of "stimulus" can save us from an extended bottom. That long-term squeeze on discretionary spending is likely to have a lasting impact on the session business this year and possibly next.

Part of this is that they are covering for a recession that already happened.

Stocks were going down when Bernie was in the lead. Internationally, there was some panic about electing a socialist.

Next thing you know, all the Dem candidates coalesce to support the weakest candidate in modern history........all to stop Bernie.

Then, this happens. WHO doesn't have to pay those pandemic bonds now. Think it saved them a cool 500 Million. I heard Germany was attempting austerity, but this brought them to their knees.

Europe is already a mess. They are talking about digitizing currency already.

Who wins in a crisis like this?

China and the medical community - The Western World.....not so much.

Never let a good crisis go to waste?

I digress.

Yes, it's going to lead to a deeper recession.

Position yourself as wisely as your intellect allows.

What happened to this thread? My brain exploded. Didn't someone post that yes, Corona virus has affected session wrestling so yes, the answer is yes?

Also, to speak to your earlier comment about testing, I am not a medical professional, but from what I understand this virus will be around like another cold/flu virus strain that we could get every year. With vaccines and immunity, it won't be a shit show like this. But people need to stop talking about it like it's an STI. It is not an STI. An STI shouldn't carry a stigma anyway, but neither should COVID. It's not like I got the flu when I was 6 so no one wants to wrestle me ever again. It doesn't work like that. It's not AIDS. It's not herpes. A condom won't protect you from COVID.

This.
A lot of people are concerned about it, male and female alike.

I want as much info as possible personally.

I have an older gentleman that is coming to wrestle one of the girls in a month or so and I have to take as many pre-cautions as possible and I'm gathering as much info as I can for the safety of our ladies and clients.

Unless that month or so is June or July, that won't be happening. And by then, there will be plenty of new information out.

As for now, I know I am out of a job. And I miss wrestling. And we're all in this together.

I hear what you're saying, but none of us has ultimate control over what anyone else may choose to do. If they want to schedule a shoot, have actors, and believe they are safe, they are going to do what they want.

The tighter other people's money gets, the more likely they will be to disregard "stay home" suggestions. I'm not saying that is FWC's position at all, just that extended shutdowns will create pressures that can't be ignored. I'm not in production anymore, but we have years of backup content that we can pull out of the can. I was always obsessed with my rainy day stash, but I can't fault anyone who may not be in a similar position as far as content creation.

This is the last time I will post on this thread about Ms. Rona. It's done been dead in my opinion.

And no one has to explain to me the choices one must make when deciding to work or pay bills. I wrestled dudes for money. Now I can't. Even if I wanted to, no one is sessioning. Nothing is open. There is no way to travel. And I prefer to live. As a ProDomme and Fetish Wrestler, I am considered a sex worker. And they don't give unemployment to sex workers.

I am part of the sex worker community and I understand survival sex work. Instead of belaboring this topic any further, how about we talk about the EARN IT act (FOSTA SESTA the sequel) and how that is going to adversely affect my business, put a damper on your hobby, threaten OUR online information and what can be done to protect us?
