cardio kills

It's not all about strength, technique and cardio are far more important.

My wife has put me in many smother holds and when I'm exhausted it becomes all about just breathing rather than any defending. The longer the hold, changing of holds, eventually all you can do is give up.

Certainly not the worst thing in the world haha.

But to answer your question directly.... if they were in similar physical condition I would say around 20-30 pounds for just strength.

It doesn't really work like that, weight by itself doesn't tell much, there are women who are stronger than plenty of men that are a lot heavier than them, just like there are women who are weaker than plenty of men a lot lighter than them.
It depends on what their weight is composed by (eg. what percentage is muscles, bodyfat, a larger skeleton etc....) and on other "invisible" factors that play a role in how strong someone is (two people of similar weight and build can still have a very big strenght difference between them, based on genetic predisposition, fitness level and training).

For example Stefi Cohen weight 120 lbs and she is stronger than 99% of men.

Depends on the color of her eyes. +20 for blue, +10 for brown or green, -10 if she's an albino.

Seriously, what kind of a question is that?

I've met some small athletic girls that are stronger than big bodybuilders. Weight doesn't have much to do with it

Yet the weight categories in fighting sports/martial arts are very important if not essential?

Thus it means that at equal martial knowledge, weight is decisive?

I would bet my life on the fact that they are not stronger.

Fantasy on this site is fine but don't tell ridiculous lies. Every single male body builder in the world is stronger than every small athletic girl in the world.

Weight classe exist for trained fighters that are supposed to have not only similar martial arts knowledge and experience, but also similar fitness level and physical condition suited for fighting.
If you are heavier than someone because you are out of shape with 30 lbs of belly fat while he is in good shape and athletic, he is the one who has a strenght advantage.

Anyway if physical condition and fitness level are similar I would say that on average a woman need to be around 20-30 lbs heavier than a man to be as strong as him, altough keep in mind that's an extremely broad generalizaton and there are plenty of exceptions (just think about the aforementioned Stefi Cohen who is physically stronger than most male weightlifters who are heavier than her).
