Why Are Women Mentally Stronger Than Men?

Not sure where the best place to post this is so please forgive me if this is the wrong area. Women seem to be mentally stronger than men. They can resist their attraction to us much easier then we can them. They are able to resist their impulses better. They can use our own ways of thinking against us so easily and have an easy time convincing us to do what they desire much easier and without force. What are your thoughts on this? Do you believe women are mentally superior to men? Why or why not?

Just a piece of an answer, even if this kind of generality can prove itself to be false in many individual cases... :
Born and living in societies made by and for men (may vary from a country to another but it's mainly the case everywhere as patriarchy can wear light or hardcore forms), a woman has to adapt to a much more hostile world than an average man. Not to mention the weight and responsability of maternity they almost fully carry in reality.
It starts with the education which is very often different for a boy and a girl, and then all the things they will experience in their life later, which are barely meant to happen in a boy's/man's life.

This is a theory available for any minority having to deal with a different and potentially hostile power (when I mention "minority", it's not much about quantity, but rather about not belonging to those "in charge"). To survive, being mentally stronger is part of the basics.

I don't think women are mentally stronger than men, altough men are not mentally stronger than women either.
It depends more on the specific individuals than their gender.

In general, I wouldn’t say that women are mentally stronger than men. Like you mention, some women have discovered the art of using their sexuality to manipulate men. But I don’t think that makes them mentally stronger. This doesn’t apply to all women, but alot of women are mentally weaker than men because they are too easily influenced by their emotions.

I think this sounds like more fetish thinking than reality. Some women are mentally stronger than most men, and some men are mentally stronger than most women. It’s individual and has nothing to do with gender.

You have to realize women raise boys and mold them to be how he should be. My mom emphasized me being macho and not to take any bull from anybody, still applies but some friends moms were marshmellows and so were their sons.

Also in smarts and acadmeics women in my country..ireland outperform boys in all subjects in school and far outnumber young men in universities, that a trend other guys notice in their countries?

Definitely. In my country there are reports all the time about boys being outperformed academically by girls. Boys get score worse in high school and drop out more, and there are many more girls than boys in medical school.
