Default Interesting in that the ladies often run these mixed wrestling production companies

Ever notice that the ladies quite often run these production companies or agencies

Examples are

Christie from C & B
Jennifer from SessionGirls
Lisa from Tempest
Judell
Monica from Monica's wrestling
Isabelle from Abondance Wrestling
Robin from Femme Fatales
Jenna Preston
Veve Lane

Probably a few more that I missed off the top of my head, but there seems to be quite a few of them, more than I would have expected for such a male dominated industry

Just an interesting note. I wonder why so many ladies picked up on this fetish

These are mostly wrestlers who became producers. That's how the system works, it seems. You first become a wrestler, then you realize that there is an opportunity, a market, since the niche is not very saturated, and you start doing business. It becomes a way of life in a sense once you are in.

Except Judell, where her husband was the one who introduced her to wrestling, and later was the main force behind the business.

Virtually no overhead or minimized since the woman is the wrestler. If one of these women went on tour doing ultra competitive matches with other sessionettes where only headscissor, body scissors, and smothers were allowed (DWW style) I'd pay top $ to see.

Yes but a lot of times, it is not the woman who is the wrestler. However, she is the one who is arranging the matches.

For example, look at Monica from MWS, she is arranging the matches for the other girls in her studio and doesn't appear in too many of them at all.

I'm pretty sure the main force behind DoomMaidens is Diablo, not VeVe. He runs their Twitter and their Clips4Sale and answers their e-mail.

I imagine they're partners.

The barrier to entry to being a producer is lower than ever. Especially with sites like clips 4 sale. Having a digital camera or even a cellphone camera can get them started. Minxy Li, Liz Lightspeed...seems like every other girl has a store these days. Back in the day, they'd need to have brochures printed, rent mailing lists, and advertise in the wrestling magazines to attract customers. Not to mention having to manually duplicate their videos/films or pay a professional to make them.

You are absolutely correct. In the past, fees to run a website were astronomical. The cost for a dedicated server was about $300/month, along with webmaster fees, merchant fees, etc. With Clips4Sale, just about anyone can snag a camera and a couple of girls and have at it. There is a lot more to this industry than meets the eye...

And it seemed that there were a lot of flaky webmasters that wouldn't deliver as promised. Helen Von Mott ran into several of them and never really got her video company very far off the ground back in the early 2000s and gave up. I think it was Robin's brother who helped her succeed as a video producer.
