It's a bit of both but Rita would be quite scary to a young kid I think, particularly early on in the movie.
She looked a little bit like that girl from The Ring. Took my 5 year old to the movie, and it scared him.

Default Looking for Movie/TVShow with large role for evil girl...

I love to see an ass-kicking evil girl in a TV show or movie. Even better if she has some wrestling moves or enjoys torturing her opponents. Unfortunately most movies follow the same formular - the girl gets one fight against a minor character in the first quarter of the movie, then a lot of boring stuff happens, then she fights and loses against the hero/heroine.

Do you know of any movie/show/series/japanese-webvideo-with-hindu-subtitles that breaks with this formular and lets the bad girl do what she does best: being bad, kicking a lot of guys asses and looking good while doing it? I mean, there is so much media produced every day - there has to be some director/producer that just lets their evil girl shine

Pollyanna McIntosh plays tall villain who kicks ass in first season and I think has a few fight scenes

It' seems that Hollywood is finally ready for a new wave of female villains.
The new Thor movie, the upcoming Fast and Furious and the Tom Cruise reboot of The Mummy will all feature women as the main villain.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that these movies will be successful!

If the screenplay weren't so awful, "Romeo Is Bleeding" would have one of the best female villains ever in Mona Demarkov:

Played by Lena Olin, Mona is a Russian gangster whom a crooked cop (Gary Oldman) is sent to kill.

Late 80's Punisher. There wasn't any wrestling though but mother and daughter were deadly.

Yeah that scene in the car where she tried to strangle the guy was pretty hot.

There is a huge void of sexy female villains. I would love to see a Megan Jones caliber babe appear as a villainous enforcer. There was an old school Charlie’s Angels episode where a tall, somewhat eastern block type gal was the enforcer for some bad guys. In one scene she is vaguely torturing some older blind guy by squeezing his face between her hands.

The old Charles Bronson film “Murphy’s law” has a fairly hot female sociopath killer. She drowns a guy with her bare hands, strangles a lady with an electric cord, and suffocates a guy with a plastic bag. Although they don’t show the last murder.

Also, I saw a British detective show set in the 1800’s (I think it was Ripper Street) where a group of women are kidnapping local businessmen. Their “henchwoman” is a tall, athletic looking lady with a badly scarred face who is snatching these guys and strong arming them to the hideout where they keep them chained up. Sadly they don’t show a whole lot of struggle between the guys and the henchwoman. In one scene the lights go out, 3 seconds later they come back on and the guy is gone. They then cut to the hideout where she’s forcefully bringing him in and chaining him up.
