Default Who will be the first fighter to deliver a flying knee KO?

When are we going to see something like this in WMMA specifically the UFC?

We haven't seen too many knockouts via knee strike. I mean clean, sparked out as a flush knee often results.

There have been a few bodyshot TKOs (Ronda/Sara, GDR/Elmose) but we're still waiting for that elusive flying knee.

Off the top of my head I can only think of Germaine de Randamie knocking out Stephanie Webber in Strikeforce. She's vicious with knees when she locks in the plum clinch.

...And Zoila Frausto knocking out Rosi Sexton with a proper flying knee.

Who will be the first WMMA fighter to score a flying knee knockout in the UFC?

I think Paige Vanzant is the one who possibly can do it. Remember her match witt Bec?

That's why I put her on the list. I wasn't going to, and then remembered this crazy stagger kick. I think part of it is just having the swag and belief to try it.

I think Rose is the leading candidate. She's got the swagger, inventiveness and athleticism to try it and pull it off. She very nearly landed one on Jessica Andrade, but it landed on the chest and knocked Jessica down briefly. I can't seem to find a .gif of it though.

I don't see why more fighters don't just try a Hail Mary flying knee. Cat tried it against Ronda but that was silly (especially considering the opponent). If you're down 2-0 against a better grappler, start of the third round, you might as well take the risk, charge in and try your luck.
