Is Liz Lightspeed worth it?

I'd just like to know other people's opinion on Liz Lightspeed. I emailed her last year and she told me that a one hour session is $200 and I recently emailed her and she said it's $400 which is double what she first told me. Maybe because of the pandemic she lowered her price and looking back I should've done the session for $200. Now, I've read some of her reviews and it's very mixed. Some people say she will destroy you and others say she barely knows how to wrestle. My main concern is that I don't want to pay $400 for a session and it ends up being a waste of money. So I'd like to know if she's worth $400 for a session. If anyone wrestles Liz often I'd like to hear your opinion but I'm curious what other people think as well.

Keep in mind that she is 55. She is in shape and very athletic, but if you want to be "destroyed", maybe it is better to search elsewhere. I know this is not a gentleman's opinion, and I love the idea of losing against older women, but we have to be realistic. That said, she was in the top list of the girls I would have loved to meet, and one of the names who got me into MW

I wrestled her back in 2017. She is in good shape, knows some jits. Mostly she lets you go at her and then lets you trap yourself. If you lower your head and go toward her, she'll get you in a guillotine. Her guillotine is good. Her scissors are also quite effective.

I have to give her credit, once we were in a good roll, and somehow she ended up with her nethers pressing down on my face with me unable to get up. Her pubic bone was jamming the bridge of my nose up into my brain.

So, to summarize, she is in shape; she has enough jits knowledge to get let the untrained and aggressive get themselves into trouble.

I'm 5'8" 155 lbs.

Obviously it’s up to you but personally I’d never even consider paying that much, what makes her so much ‘better’ than girls charging half that.
Also, it’s so much a personal thing whether you’re going to live it or not, even if you did have an amazing time wouldn’t you feel a bit ripped off afterwards in the cold light of day?

The first price stands out, I can't think of any girls with any name recognition charging only $200 for a full hour.

While I would be tentative of paying that much, I don't see it as a case conceit from Liz. She does has a name in the industry compared to some of the new session women that are charging from $500 and up out the gate.

And there's a possibility to feel "ripped off" afterward, regardless of the session price, as that's a few hundred dollars toward something momentary when compared to a vacation trip or even a concert.

However, I've come away feeling great about most, if not all my sessions.

Ageism here. North of 50, I'm well aware they keep in great shape and have great experience & all, but heck we all start some sagging and other things too, that to me would affect cost.

I want them a little older & experienced, but probably if north of 45, that has to be taken into account.

I did a session with Liz probably about 10 years ago. I’m not going to sugar-coat it and say that it was the best session ever, I would say she was more middle of the pack. Not a terrible session, but by no means the best session I have done. My session was not a competitive one, so I can’t really attest to her wrestling skills. But I do remember that she was friendly and easy going.

But to answer your question of would I pay $400 to session with her? I don’t think so.

I met her about 11 years ago and yes I would say she is in the middle of the pack also. A lot of it depends on your size, if your a smaller guy I would say she could do fine with you. If your a big guy , I don’t see her being competitive at all.
