So would something like this be more appropriate then?

Well it's not that I don't like it, I was just skeptical at the idea that every match was "100% real", meaning both competitors were trying their hardest to win. I linked a few matches earlier in this thread that gave me doubts, as well as the fact that the spoiler (who has a BJJ purple belt and weighs 235 pounds) has a record of 15-11 which seems extremely unlikely. I won't name names, but I've spoken to people on this forum in private who have BJJ experience and have sessioned with many formidable women and gotten the better of them.

That said, I can't be too confident about any of this because I've never seen a full video, only previews and the info that's on the site. I'm sure it's possible that some of the matches could be 100% real.
Zweig has a rule against posting full videos, but it looks like short excerpts may be allowed. I think he used to have a specific time limit (4 minutes or less?) but it's no longer in the rules. This is what the rule is currently:

3.6 Do not post full-length videos, links to such videos, more than 10 pictures from any single image set, or more than 10 video stills from any particular video from producers that are active (that sell their content).

If someone wants to post a short clip from a video, but longer than the standard 10 second preview that many producers provide, that MAY be allowed, but I'm not sure of the length allowed.

[QUOTE=Freeman20;439734]Veve went from submission to submission without stopping or going back to the starting postion? You call that competitive?

===

I do, yes. The male competitor was trying and fighting but he was gassed and still trying to fight. He was outclassed and out-gassed. Your mileage may vary. I don't care if you buy the video or not. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm skeptical, but I'd like to see that. Razor looks strong, but doesn't appear to be in very good shape. I'd be especially curious to see how the first couple minutes of that match played out. I have little doubt that a smaller woman with great conditioning could easily outlast a big out of shape guy in a 25 minute match. I'm a bigger guy than Razor, but if I were to go against Veve Lane, I'm sure that after 25 minutes I'd be so tired that she could probably push me over with one hand. But in those first couple minutes, no way I'm losing that!
Re: Razor. The first video, he's holding more water. The dude is buff but... fluffy. In the second video he's cut AF. It's a striking difference tbh. Again, I'm not trying to convince you to buy something. But if you like competitive mixed, AMW produces a fine product that's worth the pennies imo.

Agreed. Here's visual proof of how much this dude trained for this match. It's like one of those body transformation ads. He busted his ass in the gym to get ready for his second match with amw.

Not a chance this is real. Easy to sweat just moving around. Look at the size of his arms. Twice the size of her legs. He could kill here in a few seconds with just a bear hug.

Have you seen the video or are you just basing your opinion on the size difference?

The guy is not a wrestler..being big and buff like a bodybuilder doesn't make you a capable grappler..guys built like that frequently lack cardio and functional strength. There's experienced men and women grapplers half this guy's size that would mop the floor with him.

Definitely agree with this assessment. Bodybuilding training and functional combat training for MMA style fighting and wrestling are two very different things. I know firsthand from myself that being strong in the weight room does not directly and fully translate to being strong on the mat. I mean certainly it helps. I've had sessions where I pretty significantly outweighed my opponent and was able to muscle her around to a definite degree. especially early on in the match before I got tired since my cardiovascular training is not my strong suit by any means. But it's definitely not everything. Skill, speed , technique, stamina, conditioning, experience, competitiveness and mentality all play a big part in your abilities as a wrestler. I would say in at least 90% to 95% of my sessions I've definitely had the muscle/strength advantage on my opponents. But I've certainly not won 90% of my matches. Not even close.
