Default Session prices to drop

Session prices in the UK will undoubtedly drop in this horrendous recession. There is not so much disposable 8ncome about and our first priority is the NHS, certainly not amazon wishlist and ridiculous rates for sessions. Those days have gone. What price do you think they will drop down to in the new normal? As wrestling will be the last activity to be unlocked in about a years time I am estimating a session will be somewhere between £75- £100.

I think they'll stay exactly the same.

I really don't think so. They should stay exactly the same as they are now, and certainly should not go as low as half the usual rate. If session wrestlers can't get a decent income, they simply won't do it! Then everyone suffers.

Okay, you gents are going to make this old-timer reminisce...
I had my First... my *first*... session in June of 1976.
$75. Seriously.
It bobbed up to $100 average once I started gaining traction in my fetish life... and hovered there for years.
By the time it floated up to the current average of $300 USD (last time I looked, anyway) I stopped noticing.
Crikey, I'm getting old! LOL

will the price of iphones or cars or hamburgers fall due to the crisis? No. So why should the price if session wrestling?? your argument is flawed.

I’ll be sessioning later this month, June at the latest. And I will expect to pay $300 per hour, that’s my limit, anyone charging more is not for me.

I note that car prices have fallen. House prices have fallen. Dealerships are offering all sorts of deals. The English economists are saying drop the price to increase cash flow. The american economists say increase the value. Either way things are going to change dramatically .

When you account for inflation, $75 in 1976 is $350 today. Seems like things haven't changed much really

I disagree. Coronavirus is a game changer and we have never had a recession like this one. Life, the economy and session wrestling has changed for a very long time.
