Gina Carano appreciation thread

There's a battle scene in The Mandalorian where she's fighting alongside the titular character and has to drag him (in his full body armour) back to safety after he gets shot. In the behind the scenes footage there are interviews with the cast and crew talking about how apparently the director had told her she needed to do this and she'd just gone, "Yeah okay" and done it with no problems. They were all in awe at how powerful she was to just casually grab a full grown man in a metal full body armour suit and drag him bodily about 20 metres whilst he's playing dead. Amazing.

The hotel room fight scene in Haywire (2011) still is the best male vs female fight scene in a movie. The reason why it works is because Gina Carano is a professional fighter and you can see the difference between an actual fighter vs an actor. Michael Fassbender plays a hitman in this movie and his fighting skills are shockingly bad for an assassin.

Just as a follow up, it's called Disney Gallery/Star Wars: The Mandalorian, Season 1 Episode 3 and it's from about the 13th minute when they all start talking about Gina. Enjoy!

I always thought that she is tough and hot but never liked her acting
But she is sooo good at The Mandalorian. She is a great cast for her character I think.

Ah well, so much for "appreciation". Here's my last contribution from Daughter Of The Wolf, being a handful of images from a fight against the female kidnapper. It's at the 65-minute(ish) mark on my German DVD.

I've picked things up at the point I left off, and we can now see that the RNC ultimately failed. After that, I didn't enjoy it much because it was a knife fight and weapons-based combat isn't my thing. But the guy from the last post might enjoy the fact that Gina loses - when she's kicked off the edge of a cliff into a Niagara-style expanse of icy water.

The production may not have used Gina's genuine skills to any great extent, but it was still watchable due to the performance of the real star - the gloriously picturesque (Canadian Rockies?) mountain location.

unfortunately in the last chapter of Mandalorian I saw her extremely fat, she lost her body shape, so sad, but she is a great actress
