Mainstream Fights - not on DVD!

For those who don't know me, I usually inhabit the Pictures Forum, posting thousands of screenshots from my huge Mainstream DVD collection. But I never include videos, or links to online versions, because I own all the discs from which the material is sourced.

But this stuff is different, and that's why I've moved over here. Try as I might, I've been unable to find these productions on DVD. So I've had to trace them on YT (or occasionally elsewhere) instead. That means you get the link (hooray!) as well as my usual sample of screenshots from the action.

I'll add a bit more explanation later, but I don't want to bore you too much straight away. So let's just get the ball rolling with an example; fingers crossed it works as I intended.

Replicant Pris - Eat Your Heart Out! This proves the idea dates back to 1951.

Anyone who saw my contribution in the 'Dancers' Picture Thread yesterday may wonder if this is a duplicate post. It isn't - that one was from the NYC Ballet, and it covered the headscissor kill only.

These shots feature a performance by the Bolshoi, and they're grabbed from the same version as the attached video.

Back in early 2000 (and before) it was more common to see nice women fighting in miniskirts without thinking it is a problem.

The clip from The Cage is outstanding on so many levels. I saw this yesterday and have been searching the internet a bunch since. First, thank you for bringing this to our attention...I cant believe that such a scene in a classic ballet of all things hasn't been discussed / explored more by those of us into this topic. This is main stream choreography of a scissor kill twice in an 18 minute performance that the ballet comminity considers a classic. Thank you again for sharing with us. Now the trick is to find video clips of this performance....???

Thank you; but why is it a trick (or tricky)? I've given you one Video version (Bolshoi) above. And another Forum member posted a different link in the 'Dancers' Picture Thread a couple of days ago - after I introduced the subject over there via a New York performance. I'm sure there's more if you just search on YT or Google.
