Default Re: Do you have great victories vs famous session wrestlers?

I don't think that's the point of this thread. Getting 1 point is way different from winning a match that's gone on for an hour. The 1st time I met Venom I got 2 points and didn't come close to winning.[/QUOTE]

I understand what you are saying...I should have been more specific and said that I have submitted them and they did not submit me (or I submitted them more times).

I'm impressed you beat Kristie and more than once. I never got a submission on her despite a 30 pound or so weight advantage. Other than Olga B and Jennifer Thomas, Kristie is the most dominant woman I've fought. There are some I've beaten who are well known but not in the top tier as far as wrestling or jiu-jitsu are concerned.

Where did you get the idea men can't beat women? It's quite the opposite outside of our small world.
Have you read the posts here?

Usually it goes like this

"lost something like 15-0"
"Never came close to a submission"
"I realized she could do whatever she wanted, though I had 50 lbs on her & am a trained athlete".....

And if you are married to someone who will wrestle you, it doesn't take long for them too to figure out how the beat you easily.....

Back when I was doing and interested in competitive sessions I probably had many victories that would consider surprising.

My stats then and now were 5'9 160 lbs. No formal training at all but very fit and athletic.

Wins off the top of my head are....

Ziggy
Kaysha Brazil
Kayla
Lora - grapplinggirls
Mahea
Jolie - formerly of Tempest and then moved to LA
Kim - used to be with Doom Maidens in NYC then moved to Italy. Think she was Purple belt at the time.
Buffy the body - Featured on scissorvixens and based in San Diego. Was a former marine with combat training.
Lara - Alpha Catz

There's more but just drawing a blank remembering names.

Some memorable ties.
Venom
Sable - London wrestling studio
Some pro MMA fighter that used to based out of Missouri I think and was friends with Tommi. Forget her name now but they were traveling together on a trip to NYC some years back.

My best 'victory' though still a loss was a 1-0 to Yasmin where we were tied 0-0 and had to go 15 minutes into over time for her to get a tap.

IMO she was the gold standard of female grapplers to have ever been available for competitive sessions in her day.

Wow,you have beat Ziggy my respect!

Yes, but most guys here are submissive and they want to lose. Plus, what do you expect when an untrained man goes up a blackbelt or a bodybuilder?

I had no idea she ever did sessions or what her session name (if any) was. But maybe it would show up in archived pages of wb270's site. I only knew she was Tommi's girlfriend.

I won against Lisa King the two first times. Then she outclassed me truly the third time. Have no fucky idea why she suddenly beat me. I had no chance.

I am 5'10", 160, athletic, but untrained as a wrestler. Some of my better results are 5 wins vs Julie Squeeze, won also over Kristie Etzold, Empress Asia, Cheyenne Jewel (in her early days), Honii, Cyndi Huntress, Gia Primo

She didn't. Long story but got invited down to the grapplinggirls studio in Sarasota for a match with her that wasn't released in clips store but on DVD. Very spunky, fun girl to wrestle with. 2-0.
What was the DVD title or #, if I may ask?

No idea or if it's even available. I don't think they title their DVD's and usually put 3 or 4 clips together on them last I knew so one part of the DVD might not even get mentioned in a description.

I do however have my own commemorative DVD of the match.
