Results from 2019 in arm wrestling in a school with 25 boys and 31 girls all around 17-18 years. The 6 best girls where placed 6, 11, 16, 18, 22 and 26, and the 6 weakest boys were placed 49, 44, 38, 37, 29 and 27.
So the strongest girl was better than 20 boys (80% of the boys).
The weakest boy was were placed below 24 girls - 78% of the girls stronger than the weakest boy.
6 strongest girls (20%) were all stronger than 6 weakest boys (24%).

Girls can be stronger but mostly and not surprisingly the boys are stronger in average.

Reminds me of an arm wrestling tournament that my senior class had in high school way back in the day. Out of a class of about 125 students, pretty equal distribution of boys and girls, we had a girl place 2nd and another girl place 4th in our class. I was in the top 15, but both of these girls slammed my arms down. Believe it or not neither girl played any sports.

Reminds me of last week end when we did armwestling with a group of 20 friends. Believe it or not. All men were stronger than all women.
One of the girl was a national level gymnast (rhonrad)

This street armwrestling video posted here the other day .. Girl in the thumbnail @23:00

That's just a girl in the street – looks about 115lbs .. You wouldn't bet on her beating a 14-year-old boy.

Prime-age adult males are having a tough time with her – but imagine older, unfit, or low-Testosterone guys (guys who don't arm wrestle in the street) up against her .. Strength is a weird thing, and individual variation is so much greater than group variation

Garcon is badly mistaken when he said Johnny Weismueller was not a professional. In fact, he was olimpic champion and become famous by this, and next, he go to Hollywood to play Tarzan role because the plot had a lot of scenes of swimming and diving.

The average male is stronger than the average female. That's science. Same goes for sports. Just listen to what Serena Williams said about men and women's tennis. She said Murray would beat her 6-0, 6-0 in five to ten minutes. She also said men are faster and they serve and hit harder. She said she just wants to play girls. This came from the greatest female tennis player ever.

There's a new book out on Serena Williams, "Seeing Serena"

A review is posted here:

[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

Excerpt from the review:

There is also an interesting passage explaining why top men beat top women so easily — something that a teenage Williams helped demonstrate in 1996, when she accepted a challenge to play Karsten Braasch, a German player ranked around 200 in the world, and got thrashed 6-1. People generally assume that men’s advantage over women is that they hit the ball much harder. Not so, Marzorati says: the differences in shot velocity are actually small. What really favours men is that they are far quicker around the court than women, especially when running from side to side — something that probably stems from their hips being slimmer.
