I'm not trying to pick a fight or change your opinion but would love to hear the reasons. Although others might if you share.

What I'll do is message you my reasons. I believe that the impact of the current situation on the session scene is a highly relevant topic for this forum. But I think the debate about the merits of lockdowns, injections, etc is beyond the scope of the forum.

I personally have not done a session since December 2019 and have complied with all guidance and legal requirements in 2020 and 2021.

I've gotten my vaccinations. I currently would love to have another session. I don't like hiding out, as I believe 10 years from now there will still be a set of people that just will think it's still not all clear and still hiding out behind masks and distancing.

If thread 12 is right and 4 people went to hospital and they were vaccinated and 1 person went to hospital not vaccinated and 74% got the covid who got vaccinated means the shot is not working how ever u want to spin it not good

Every study they have done from the US to Brazil to India to the UK has shown that the vaccines absolutely work. The latest study showed the pfizer vaccine was still over 90% effective against the delta variant while tested in India during their last surge. What that means is 9 out of 10 people will have no symptoms and 1 will get it with minor or moderate symptoms. Still no one ended up in the hospital or died. The only issue so far (in a study done in Israel), vaccinated people can still spread it to the unvaccinated since the unvaccinated have no anti-bodies and can be easily infected. The point is, unless you have natural anti-bodies or have been fully vaccinated, you are playing with fire. You might be lucky and only be asymptomatic, but you might also be unlucky and die because your blood type, immune system or lungs couldn't handle the virus.

some people have gone to the hospital despite being vaccinated. your odds are several orders of magnitude better if you're vaccinated though.
