Default Jennifer Aniston Vs. Middle Aged Men

Seriously, what percentage of middle aged men (45+) - men around her age group - would be embarrassed by Jennifer Aniston, either on the mat or in a straight up fight?

She looks amazing for a woman in her 50s.

You might think "but she's only 5'4, 120lbs". Yeah, that means she's fit, energetic, agile and has good stamina. How about you?

One of the easiest guys I ever beat in grappling was a big overweight guy that outweighed me by around 100lbs. He was just too slow and cumbersome. I was a skinny, fit, whippersnapper in my youth.

Being fit matters more than being fat and weighty.

Again you might be thinking "But, but, but Butterbean, Tank Abbott, Roy Nelson... Fat guys. Weight matters. Weight classes for a reason..."

Those guys are Bloatlords. You can't be a Bloatlord unless you go to the gym or at least work in manual labour; construction, a rugged outdoorsman, etc. They have fat, yes, but they also have a lot of muscle, power not to mention trained skill. They are not sedentary. BIG difference between guys like that and couch potatoes that would be embarrassed by lighter, fitter female celebrities.

Jennifer Aniston pays serious attention to her health and fitness. She has done for pretty much her whole life. Strict diet and exercise regime daily. Running, going to the gym or spending time with a personal trainer.

Apparently she began practising Budokon - a hybrid between Yoga and martial arts - around 15 years ago. So in a way, you could say Jen (as she likes to be called) is a trained martial artist.

This site recognises her as so.

Quote:
“Jennifer Aniston can run circles around Angelina Jolie,” Budokon founder Cameron Shayne told The Telegraph. “She surprises me with her level of strength. She’s got good arms, good legs, and she’s got a killer body. She’s a real athlete, that girl.”

Many sites also allude to her workouts now including Boxing.

The problem for guys Jen's age is there is now very little room for playing catch up, physically speaking.

A 45+ year old guy can't just roll off the couch after 20+ years of a sedentary lifestyle, working a sedentary job, consuming processed junk - microwave meals, Pepsi, donuts and beer and compete with such a woman. Because you're heavier? Because you're a man and 'built different' ? ... Come on now.

Even at age 37, I'm beginning to see the truth to the old adage "use it or lose it" ... I see guys my age letting themselves go, stiffening up, getting aches and pains from a sedentary lifestyle. When you get past 35, youth is no longer your saviour anymore. Father Time is starting to have a nibble at you. If you want to keep up with the young'uns and be as able-bodied as you were at 25, you gotta work for it. You've got to lift weights, get your heart rate up - run, row, cycle, swim, etc. You can't be sedentary all day every day. Running won't give you bad knees unless you run with horrendously bad form. No, it's obesity that will knacker your knees. Letting your muscles atrophy from poor diet and lack of weight training will damage your joints. Your bones will lose density and become brittle. That's when inky brinky knees, shoulders and "bad back" will become staples of your vocabulary. Use it or lose it!

Check out some more pics. Flexible. Toned arms and legs. She runs, lifts weights, does Yoga/Budokon, Boxing...

Because I wanted to post it.

Decide your own level of involvement!! No one forcing you to click / read / respond. Don't reply with spam and irrelevant comments.

**(it could be moved to the 'can women beat men' forum. I actually meant to post it there.)

Because he clearly enjoy debating about such hypotetical match-ups, I don't see anything wrong with that.
This whole forum is about the "male vs female" topic after all, it would be like going to an MMA board and be surprised because some users keep discussing and analyzing an hypotetical Fedor vs Brock Lesnar or Royce Gracie vs Mike Tyson match-up.

Maybe it stems from being a fight fan myself.

Most of the big-hitting MMA and Boxing message boards have sub-forums dedicated to fantasy match up discussion. Sherdog.com and Boxingscene.com to name a couple.

well the majority of men in their 40s are probably fat, never workout, sit at a desk all day, and may struggle walking up a flight of stairs. Compared to a woman worth hundreds of millions who presumably spends plenty on a personal chef for a reasonable diet at a minimum and probably a personal trainer or two.

I don't think she has anywhere near the level of fitness/musculature guys who have done sessions with bodybuilders would be impressed by.

She does look good for her age, she does take care of herself. I didn't realize she was as old as she was when I saw I don't know which film, maybe We're the Millers, she would have been 44, looked younger. Or Horrible Bosses 2, made a year later.

Where do you live where the majority of men in their 40s struggle to walk up a flight of stairs?

These threads are so odd.

I would hope that I don’t have difficulty walking up stairs when I turn 40. Otherwise I will have a rough life ahead of me.
