Default Forum rule #3.6 (picture limit per set)

Hi Naji,

I'm not sure but this might have been discussed already years ago, I can't find this discussion anymore, though.

I totally understand the need to protect producers content by limiting the number of shared pictures per set. They put their hard work, time and money into their productions and depend on their customers money who should not download it somewhere else for free.

This forum has to find the right balance between sharing content for it's members which in the best case can work as an advertisement and animate them to buy the content from the producer on the one hand and protecting the producer's rights on the other hand.
Therefore a picture limit per set is totally justified.

Having said that I would like to ask if a moderate adjustment to the allowed number of shared pictures per set could be made.
To my observation the number of pictures per set (producer's content) increased significantly especially over the last years. Cheaper webspace or storage etc. might be the reason for that.
Within the current 10 picture rule it sometimes is very hard to choose the right pictures for giving the other members an idea of the whole story (as there are so many pictures in the set overall).

Do you think it might be a good idea to increase the limit of allowed pictures per set to 15 as an adjustment to this development over the years?
I think in the year 2021 producers rights would still be protected by this moderate increase.

Thank you, leg_art. But, you know how they say, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". I think 10 is a good number tbh. Why push it?

Hi Naji,

you are right, the number 10 has proven itself over the years. I thought it would be nice to give the users a little bit more flexibility but I'm totally fine with the rule staying this way.
