You read the comments under these YouTube vids, winner vs loser, when men hit back compilations, etc, and the penny quickly drops... They are no great "reality check", they are about helping weak, insecure men cope.

Cope with the abundance of women that are more successful in life and therefore intimidating to them. These vids are a soothing mechanism to their frail snowflake egos. Like a baby with a pacifier.

It is classic beta male behaviour to strive to belong to a group - gender, race, nationality, etc - that will be perceived as status elevating.

"Look, a man beating a woman... He's a man, I'm a man."

The true "reality" is that these vids cater to disgruntled, disillusioned men that are not prospering in life and would rather comfort themselves and talk themselves into believing they belong to a powerful group, stand on the shoulders of giants, than work on bettering themselves as individuals.

"B. Bu. But men are stronger than women" ... Yeah, no shit Sherlock. This is no great revelation to hold dear to your heart as a growing sorry contingent seem to be doing. Celebrating beating a woman only makes you look weak.

Not to generalise, but 90% of those Youtube comments seem to be from men in parts of the world where women are very repressed .. Where a woman wearing a T-shirt may be aggressively provocative – so the idea of wrestling a woman, in a singlet, and being dominated, is clearly a whole other level of shame and taboo.

It's usually the same guys sending female bodybuilders angry messages on IG, "No man will want you if you keep training upper body.."

So they'll search this stuff all day, and stalk and abuse female BBs on social media, because they're having a very hard time resolving this .. A large part of what gets me in the gym and training martial arts is that, at some level, I still can't resolve women having that level of power over me .. It's the best feeling in the world to have a real alpha female into you .. But most of the time we're not that lucky, and it's just frustrating and disempowering.

Yes, on a level playing field men well usually beat women 8 to 9 out of ten times, many men on here look for women where the playing field is not level in the women's favor.

True, but the struggle is basically global. The stigma of losing to a woman - a hot woman - traverses race, nationality and culture.

But yeah, some cultures are lot less desensitised to women's liberation. The crux of their point is often that men aren't being respected enough. Feminism has gone too far and is to blame for their life being miserable, for men being weak.

There are, of course, levels lower than being a beta male.

Being a beta male is ultimately what most men are and it's not that bad. It means you have a place on the hierarchy, and often a chance to move up (aka social mobility). Being a beta male means you're accepted by the group... That you fit in.

Amazonia made a good point recently that in an age of extremes, we're now seeing more overlap between muslims, Neo-nazis and "manosphere" types (incels, MRAs). And a lot of them (especially Tate fanboys) aren't even betas - they're lower than that. Of course they want to project the image that they're alphas, macho, lone-wolves... but the truth is they're merely window-lickers of society. They're not describing a lone wolf; they're describing a Hermit and outcasts that simply do not understand how to prosper in 21st century life.

The stigma of losing to a woman is still misogyny and insecurity .. Tate is one reaction to that .. High-level BJJ guys and athletes are less likely to have that insecurity, because you learn that success is really much more about hard work than gender – so the respect male powerlifters and grapplers have for decent female athletes tends to be very genuine.

Tbh, there's a generation of girls (20s-30s) not having sex or dating, and I find they've often been to a liberal arts college and been fed a lot of feminism .. I've said to feminist friends: when the Guardian was running articles on 'manspreading', 'mansplaining', etc. 8 years ago, liberal men are either going to turn against feminism (Tate, etc.), or work out ways to subvert it (trans, nonbinary, etc.).

Guys like Tate only materialise when a lot of hostility's been whipped up .. So I do think most of the problems today are down to things going too far the other way 10 years ago.

Everyone knows men have a strength advantage. but there is this movement of political zombies on team right .who think men are literally invincble against women. and every time a woman beats a man it's communist propaganda and it will lead to the apocalypse .there is no reasoning with these guys they see you as the enemy that needs to be crushed.

In reality there are women with great fighting skills who can defeat most men in a fight apart from the most powerful men. it's like the difference between getting shot with a revolver vs a shot gun. both will kill me does it really matter which is more powerful at that point.
