As we look forward to PVZ vs. Ostovich on July 23rd, check out the highlights of their first meeting in the UFC under MMA rules.

What made the difference for me was PVZ's ability to get the better of scrambles. Something she was always good at and something Team Alpha Male fighters always tended to be good at, whizzers, sweeps, hip escapes and things like that. Getting up again if they're taken down, etc. PVZ has long since left TAM but her squirminess and good scrambling ability basically made the difference here. Possibly also the pace she fights at.

But note that in the stand up, Rachael landed some good punches and most media outlets scored the first round in her favour. Possibly you could call that a knockdown at 0:10 . Nice counter at 0:19 too.

PVZ is able to roll with punches she is caught with. She seems hard to hurt and has a good chin on her. Britain Hart lamped her a few times and she wasn't rocked or dropped.

It really depends how the fight settles down and whether one girl can establish more technical dominance under Boxing rules.

Although Rachael showed fast hands and good ability to spring in and connect, PVZ could still be the more technical when it comes to movement, jabbing and efficiency, although her performance was very disappointing against Hart. That was supposed to be a tune up and she lost it fairly decisively.

Not too sure whether Rachael is training hard for this. I doubt they're paying her as much as PVZ but if she wins at least they have another hot girl to promote.

Deservedly so. I said I wouldn't be surprised if Rachael won. She got the better of the stand up when they fought in MMA and it was basically the same shots - her overhand right - that made the difference this time as well.

Rachael's countering and timing was better all night.

I ordered and watched the event live. After a competitive first round, Rachael definitely won rounds 2, 3 & 4.

Paige had some decent moments, popping a nice jab at times and keeping her hands up. Like I also said, Paige has a good chin and is hard to hurt. Even less doubt in my mind about this now. Both ladies were two of the most skilful Boxers on the card. The reason so many of the BKFC fights don't go the distance is because how poor and sloppy the fighters are, especially in terms of defence. Broadly speaking, when you take away the gloves, you don't get such a good fight. The higher the skill of the fighter, it's even less likely you'll see a KO.

Having had all the issues and surgeries on her broken arm (I think Paige also had hand issues before also) Paige was probably more anxious to throw hard punches.

Rachael had to overcome a 2" height disadvantage and a 4" reach disadvantage. The scrappy Hawaiian got inside and got the fight on her terms. She had over 80% accuracy with her punches and was the better woman on the night.

Love Paige, but you just have to root for Rachel, she's been through so much. Looks like bk will be a good fit for her, I wish her the best. She is such a hot shorty!

I am glad VanZant lost. She should not have headlined the card with Britain Hart on the same card who had just beaten VanZant. Hart won again and I am a fan!

I'm glad Rachael won, but like it or not VanZant sells PPVs, Hart doesn't.
