I was kneed hard in the balls by a chic once and though it wasn't painful I went down on my knees immediately. There may be a fight or flight mechanism that kept me from feeling pain.

Objectively speaking, getting your balls struck in some way, or squeezed/compressed *hurts*, but among the men who "like it" in some capacity, the experience of pain varies greatly. Pain is truly a subjective thing.

First off, its possible to get hit in the balls, and NOT feel a lot pain. the potential for the strike to "miss the mark" is relatively high. Its also possible that a light "flick" can hurt a lot.

Secondly, the very act of expecting to be kicked, and bracing yourself does effect the pain level. Every surprise/unexpected/un-asked-for shot in the balls I ever received in my life was almost ALWAYS worst than a strike that I ask for, where I am standing there, bracing for impact.

Thirdly, if you are inclined to "try it" (I am not saying you should or should not), you can really work on starting with very light ballbusting, and working your way up to something. You just need a partner who is careful, and knows what they are doing.

There is true ballbusting, which results in massive pain, and quite likely permanent damage. Then there is using the balls for control or punishment, which, if done properly, is very effective in subjugating the male animal with no damage to anything except his ego.
