Re: SessionGirls.com looking for graphic designers
Yes, I hired a graphic designer for that and we came up with this:
[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] Currently, I'm getting a react/tailwind guy to convert it into a react component for me. I wear many hats at sessiongirls, and it's gotten to the point where I have to hire outside people to handle all the design, which I am not very good at. We are going to dramatically improve the interface of the site as well as make it more secure for both guys and girls. |

Re: SessionGirls.com looking for graphic designers
Steve is unbelievable. He disgusts me to the deepest of my core. And let me just add the attachment which I posted in my SG profile which I am sure Steve will remove.
Like many of my clients, Steve offered to exchange wrestling services for, in his case, programming services. SessionGirls.com was up and running in 2010, four entire years before Steve got involved. I offered him 50% of the revenue, while waiving my usual $350 hourly rate for wrestling services. He was never offered 50% ownership in my already formed company. It was a work for hire situation, which is a standard agreement in the programming world. Since involving Steve in my business, he has helped himself to a number of my resources, and has damaged his own reputation by abusing the site, and the female members. He's used unprofessional, abusive, and misogynistic slurs against the hard working women who are the backbone of session girls. He has crowned himself the arbiter of how SessionGirls.com should be run, and has abused his programming power to make his own changes, whether I want him to or not. Obviously his unprofessional behavior made it impossible to continue to involve him the site in any capacity. Unfortunately, Steve won't leave. His claims continue to increase in grandiosity; there's a never ending list of the things he feels he is "owed". The only thing Steve is owed is 50% of the revenue from the memberships as agreed. He refuses to accept the money, or grant me access to my own site. He refuses to follow the rules of the company or be fired. He has completely hijacked the site and is holding it for ransom against 50% ownership and now he's trying to bully me into acquiescence by posting misleading and defaming information about me and our agreement on my own site. If anything this proof that he has in fact, stolen the site. Regardless of his feelings, the law is very clear on this matter, and my attorney has advised me accordingly. No matter what complaints he has lodged against me, or what he feels he is entitled to, the law is what the law is. His claims of some fantasy agreement, are just that, pure fantasy. Also, there's no such thing as "emotional information". I googled it. I guess it's just one more thing he's making up to make himself sound legitimate.

Re: SessionGirls.com looking for graphic designers
Steve wants to avoid the “legal” system where he knows he will lose and whines and begs to want to go to arbitration or mediation instead. Jennifer is not dumb enough to do that.
He takes it upon himself to “do everything” even though it is beyond the scope of his duties. He claims he will do “whatever Jennifer wants” and then does something like changing the entire website against Jennifer’s wishes. I wonder what color the sky is in his world? |

Re: SessionGirls.com looking for graphic designers
ClevelandRocks,
Arbitration is "the legal system". It's usually a retired judge handling the case and the outcome is legally binding. I know this for a fact, because I'e done it before (I "won" each time, by the way). As for a legal case, I keep on asking Jennifer to give me a court case, so we can get this overwith, but she just returns with silence. And it's been years. Re: SessionGirls.com looking for graphic designers
Please do not support Steve in his quest for a graphic designer or any other services.
I have never asked for it and it will be something more for him to "Bill Me" on.

Re: SessionGirls.com looking for graphic designers
Regarding Jennifer's claims.
I am not an employee or a "work-to-hire" in any common sense way. I pay for the great bulk of the sessiongirls expenses, and have been since 2014. I also have the receipts to prove it! Hell, I even paid for the live events and did all the programming for free. And I was never given any salary or payment for it either. If Jennifer claims she did, ask her to show the receipts for her paying me. She won't because there aren't any. In fact, it's the opposite. I paid for the sessiongirls expenses, including jen's living expenses, medical bills, and even her vet bills for her dogs for 7 years now. But at the end of the day, the allegations are a "he-said, she-said" situation and you are free to believe what you want to believe. My solution is, and always will be, the same: Let's just go see our regular counsellor and agree to do whatever she recommends. However, whenever the counsellor says something Jennifer doesn't like, she gets flustered and LEAVES and refuses to go back again. It's just the way Jennifer "is". And my preferred order of handling disputes are: 1) Counselor 2) Mediator 3) Arbitrator 4) Court When presented with those options, Jen simply says "I'll see you in court!!!" - and then doesn't do anything. My proposition is to simply ask any independent arbitrator his opinion on the matter, and have him decide. And the whole thing can be done in a weekend. Once again, please read the FULL side of steve's side before you form your strong opinion. Otherwise, it will just form into ideology: [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] - Steve |
