Default Wrestling a Female Wrestler During a Tournament
I wrestle for a local wrestling club. This week I entered a tournament most of the club entered and faced a good female wrestler my first match. Got completely dominated the entire match and I lost via tech fall. Was very embarrassing for me to lose to this to a woman I could not believe it.

That sounds like an intense experience. Could you give some details of the match? Was there a size difference?

She was in the same weight as I, she was about 3 inches shorter than me. She basically kept pressure on me the whole match and overwhelmed me with technique the entire match. I only train 1-2x a week, she trains almost everyday and is a great wrestler.

I mean Easy for me to say, but if she’s more skilled than theres nothing to be that embarrassed of. Some women could beat you at tennis, some could beat you at wrestling.

You say it ended in tech fall, what does that mean? What kind of wrestling is this?

Folkstyle. Means she was up by 15 during the match so they just end it.
