I meant to do this a long time ago but I'm not as active on the forum as of late. Anyways I just wanted to post some the pages from the first chapter of Wetworks with my own review on them as this was a truly outstanding effort on your part. When I started posting on MvF, I was looking for other like minded artists and your work is by far the best at this point.

I wrote notes on the pages, I hope you enjoy what I have to say about them just as much as I loved reading this story.

I would love to have an extended conversation with you at some point about your artwork and influences.

I really appreciate your analysis of my work. The comments like “I love it!” and “Awesome!” are all wonderful, but it’s comments like yours I strive to inspire. It’s great to meet someone that has similar femdom kinks, black widow types that mate and kill for example, and is passionate about them.

It was when I saw the opening scene to Basic Instinct that my kink had been awakened. The passionate sex, moans and grunts with no words spoken, the seductive photography, the building tension, and the reveal of the ice pick as she then stabbed him to death. It startled me, but aroused me as well. The same feeling came over me after watching Xenia waste her lover with her thighs, mid-coitus. I tried to understand why I felt so confused and aroused, so I did a little reflecting and research.

I discovered the “femme fatale” archetype, a woman whose beauty and raw sexuality would spell doom for her lover, and started connecting the dots with real world examples. It’s commonly known that black widow spiders kill and eat their mates after sex, as well as praying mantises, anacondas, and even octopuses. These examples of sexual politics in nature seemed to inform our collective understanding of the “femme fatale”. She was a completely natural force, one that most men obviously had a deep fascination with considering her overwhelming presence in film and literature.

After reconciling all of this, I decided to explore my newfound fetish through my art, creating stories that discussed Femdom in a way that was both hot and thoughtful. I’ll be the first to admit that my work is essentially porn, or erotic art, and I’m not ashamed in admitting that. It is meant to get the viewer sexually aroused, but I also wanted to build an interesting philosophy into the art. Femdom as a natural way of life where deadly sex is the ultimate expression of that.

For Wetworks, it was all about highlighting the inherent superiority of the female compared to the male. The numerous men that died trying to endure the transformation of the serum demonstrated how weak and disposable they were, while the single woman that underwent the treatment flourished. How their bodies reacted to the serum also conveys this, with the men’s cocks swelling to the point of eruption and death, and the woman becoming powerful and voluptuous. Physically, the male and female’s sexual traits became profoundly heightened. As you described in your analysis, the penis is a symbol of weakness, a symbol of man’s inability to control his own instinctual desires, so it growing to the point that the strain to keep him erect is too much for his heart to bear is a perfect demonstration of this. The female however endures and is rewarded with larger breasts, hips, thighs, and buttocks. Her natural femininity becomes exaggerated to show that they are the symbol her power.

As the story goes along, the men act either cocky or willfully ignorant of what’s happening. When V and the Major face off, it is a visual representation of the bitter war between the sexes. Mann’s body is muscular and his cock is naturally massive, while V’s body is toned and shapely, with large and heavy soft breasts. The physical exaggeration is intentional to both be arousing, and suggestive of the Femdom philosophy on display. The skintight suits only push this idea further, leaving it impossible to deny what they viewers are seeing. A man and a woman sexually locked in a life and death struggle where only the strongest sex will survive.

I don’t think I could’ve come up with a better phrase than the “Transfer of Power” to summarize this. It is on point in what is being witnessed by Dr. Love and the General. As Mann struggles against V, his cock involuntarily hardens and drips with precum. He can’t control his desire for V and she knows this. Once she grips him between her thighs, a la Xenia, she gropes his swollen penis like a cat toying with its meal. She humiliates him.

After he is broken and V is given the cold command to kill him by Dr. Love, she lifts her leg overhead, giving Mann a final look at the pussy of his killer. It cannot be denied. He was killed by a woman. I’m glad you love this page the most, as there is a lot of sexual imagery in it. I love the violet lips curled over her gnashing teeth juxtaposed against his ejaculating cock. I try my best to show feminine against masculine imagery, like her lipstick versus his erupting penis. It’s just such a turn on.

All in all, your interpretation of the comic was perfect, and very thoughtful. I look forward to continuing this conversation!

Chapter 2 is still in the works, as I have many pages sketched out, I just haven’t decided if I’m going to go back and color them as I did for the first chapter. I am working a lot more and I’ll be starting school again in January. Going back to ink. and then color my comics is a very time consuming effort. I’m curious if you guys would be okay with the comics being black and white from now on. Please let me know.
