I am pretty certain that the segment involving the Amazon never aired. I believe Judell mentioned the fact that Real People had been there to record a segment. I distinctly recall that in the TV Guide for the first week of December of 1980 it said that there would be a segment on amateur female wrestling for that episode.
I can vouch for that. I got TV Guide back in the day and regularly watched RP. I don't recall the listing in question, but I doubt I hadn't checked it and was probably as disappointed as you were.

You may well be right. I have just quoted the DOB quoted by Judell in her brochures and articles. However, there have always been rumors around about Judell quoting incorrect birthdates to hide the fact some girls were under age. I guess we will never know the real situation.

It’s a shame we don’t know about the Skarvan’s sisters mother. Your not going to find to many mothers out there that would be supportive of their daughters wrestling - especially in the 1970’s. Mrs. Skarvan must of been a real scrapper, it is a shame she never jumped into Judell’s ring for a match or two !

I think Nancy was 16 when she started wrestling for Judell, and Jack was 15 when he wrestled her as well as his sister Sharon. At least that's how I remember it from the newsletters.

That 15 yo Jack was probably the luckiest guy I've heard of.
Competitively wrestling the Skarvan sisters would have ruined me for life.
Where do you go after that? You'd have to be wildly lucky to find a woman to wife that was as attractive, strong, skilled and aggressive as those girls.

I'd love to hear what Jack thinks today.

Looks like either Su Ling or a non Asian girl that the title of for the latter was something like VS Her Teenage Son from Triumph Studios back around 1977,maybe.

That's what it looks like, thanks for remembering.
I remember a brochure, back in the day. They had films of Candy, one she wrestled her teen son. There was another film where she facesat a small woman. First time I ever saw facesitting mentioned. If they'd had a mixed facesit film I'd have had to get it!

That’s the one. She went by Candy Costello for Triumph and Candy Reynolds for Sundance. Very attractive.
