In boxing it's

vs

[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

The best Russian female boxer is Svetlana Kulakova (12-0-1)

There is also Natascha Ragosina (22-0) but she has been retired since 2009. A 181cm (5'11'') Amazon who fought at 168lbs would simply be too big for any of the Nepalese male boxers listed though! It wouldn't be a fair match for the males since they don't have anyone that big.

Here's a video of her fight where she's sporting a sexy supergirl outfit:
[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

On a side note, isn't it fascinating how almost every Russian female athlete is so incredibly girly, feminine and cute? Russian women really have some of the best genes on the planet.

I watched some of the fights of the best Nepalese boxers that are listed. They are really low level in boxing, it's what they call "club fighters".

To be honest though based from what I've seen I wouldn't be so sure if the Russian female boxer Svetlana could beat them either. I'd like to be realistic here and it's very hard to compare the levels on which they fight.

In MMA it's

[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

vs

[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

I'd love to see [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] fight [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] 2-6 Nepalese fighter who is also basically the only male MMA fighter they seem to have as out of the other pro fighters listed one of them is a girl, one is a 0-1 "job guy" and the rest haven't even debuted yet. I think she would have a legit chance to win since he doesn't seem to have any ground game (half of his losses are by submission) while all of her 3 wins have been by first round submission. She seems to be very experienced and decorated in sambo (4 time world champion!) and is a submission specialist. The guy is a bit bigger than her though, she seems to walk around at 140lbs and something while he fights at 155lbs and is also taller (she's 5'6'' he's 5'11''). It all depends if that guy has anything resembling a ground game, if he doesn't then if the fight gets to the ground I could see her toying with the Nepalese fighter like Xenia Onatopp toyed with James Bond lol.

She's hot as hell

Article about her:
[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

She's a top level WMMA talent but doesn't get the hype behind her because she's not American and not in the UFC.

Look at her dressed all feminine and elegant in a lovely satin dress [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register], you would never guess how lethal this woman is.

Here is one of her fights

Look at her leglocks in Sambo:

Her leglock win in MMA:
[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

If she grabbed a hold of his leg the Nepalese man would surely be limping home in shame.

Maybe the Russian women could also bring some big girl if Marina is too small like for example [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] or [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] if the male would agree to fight in an openweight fight (with no weight limits).

I didn't see anything about Nepal having any really strong grappling tradition so Russian women probably mop the floor with Nepalese men in wrestling, sambo and judo (all of those sports are popular among females in Russia).

They do have some Muay Thai in Nepal so I could see them beating Russian women there.

I think I would bet on Nepalese men doing better in muay thai and maybe boxing while Russian women would dominate in MMA, wrestling, sambo, judo and other forms of grappling. It's fair to say that overall Russian women would do better in combat sports.

Thanks for your post, it was an informative read. I respect other opinions but personally I think living in a rough environment doesn't necessarily translate into fighting and athleticism. If anything, it might weaken you because of poor nutrition. The combat sports that are usually associated with rough areas are boxing and muay thai but you generally have to have a good tradition of those sports in your area to get proper training. That's why there are a lot of good African American boxers as their tough areas usually have good boxing gyms around the corner. Most often it's also a relatively cheap sport to train. Nepal doesn't have any tradition of producing great boxers (if fact they don't really have any relevant boxers at all) and I wonder what kind of training they have. Despite this remember that I still actually gave the Nepalese an advantage in boxing and muay thai. Those Nepalese boxers I watched briefly did indeed look tough and came to fight.

Grappling is a different beast though. BJJ is often expensive and in a lot of countries there isn't a great grappling tradition so it's hard to get good training in some places. Nepal doesn't seem to have any legitimate grappling at all. Russia, on the other hand, is a grappling nation and has a tradition in all kinds of grappling from sambo and judo to wrestling and more recently BJJ. From what I know a lot of young people get into wrestling, sambo and judo and those sports are supported by the state and have good infrastructure. A skilled female grappler could easily embarrass a male who doesn't have a clue what to do on the ground no matter how "tough" he is. Now I'm not into "Ronda Rousey can beat all the males" type of fantasies, there are indeed cases where male strenght and size becomes a factor and some 6 foot tall 200 lbs athletic guy is likely going to be able to muscle out of things or shake the smaller girl off, but the thing is an average male in Nepal is actually smaller than an average Russian woman! So when you consider all of this I would definitely pick an athletic Russian female grappler over an untrained average Nepalese male.

The myth about these monks supposedly having deadly martial arts skills has been debunked by MMA fighters long time ago. Those things don't work that well. Still, I respect their skills as an art, I just don't believe it can overcome modern combat sports athletes.

Also this whole being "macho" and "tough" thing is IMO the most overrated thing in fighting. Those guys often fold first. The best fighters are athletic men (and women) who are competitive and train their ass off. A lot of areas in Russia are rough too anyway.

If anything these results are even more embarrassing for the Nepalese men if they indeed have macho culture over there as the guy on the link you provided suggests. I wonder how they would feel about their athletic records being bested by Russian women LOL.

It's interesting that the guy on your link says that Nepalese people are fit and with amazing lungs yet they still got bested by Russian women in some of the disciplines where you need exactly that. I think this is just a further compliment to the victorious Russian females.

It's not so much about Nepal anyway, it's about how great Russian female athletes are! I just picked Nepal first I thought the girls might have a chance here (turns out they actually dominated!). I respect Nepal and I think they have a great and interesting culture. There's no shame in being bested by Russian women!

I will do comparisons involving other nations to.

Default Re: Russian women vs Nepalese men athletic comparison

I just found another Olympic event where Russian women bested the Nepalese men.

Olympic archery has the same rules and point system for both men and women, there are no variables in play.

Archery is actually popular in Asia. They seem to be [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] in Nepal as well and seem to have all the conditions available. So it's not like they just went to the Olympics for tourism.

However when they sent their best archer [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] to the Olympics his score was completely DESTROYED by every single one of the three Russian female archers that were present on the tournament.

Muktan scored 607 points in 72 arrow ranking round. Russian women Tuyana Dashidorzhieva, Ksenia Perova and Inna Stepanova scored 654, 641 and 643!

The Nepalese got eliminated in elimination round of 64 against an Indian archer and his scores from that round were so bad they would get him eliminated against any of the three Russian women.

[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]
[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

Archery involves athleticism as you need great balance, mental concentration and also specific strenght to be good. Russian women seem to be besting the Nepalese men at that as well!

Default Re: Russian women vs Nepalese men athletic comparison

A lot of people might think that Russian women outperforming Nepalese men athletically and physically might be a freak occurrence and attribute it to Russia's huge population size and the fact that Russia is a an athletic superpower.

This is why in the next comparison the males will be the ones having a population advantage!

Yemen vs Czech women
♂ vs

This is a comparison where the Yemen males should have everything going for them.

Yemen has 30 million people while Czech republic has 10 million people!

While the Czechs have definitely been performing extremely well for their population size in all kinds of sport events, they're by no means an athletic superpower like Russia. Still, their female athletes seem to be some of the most athletically gifted women on the planet. Can they pull this off?

The average height of Yemeni men is 160cm or 5'2''. The average height of Czech women is 167cm or 5'5.75''.

There's another important thing that should be pointed out... Yemen is an Islamic country and women are very poorly treated there. In fact, in [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] which deals with women rights Yemen scored the lowest out of all countries from which data was gathered, finishing on 144th place out of... 144 countries! A lot of people in their society probably view women as inferior and I assume they have even lower opinion about Western women. ISIS is very strong in the area as well. For this kind of people it would be absolutely devastating to lose to women. This would be a total humiliation for them. I doubt they can imagine even in their wildest dreams that it could be possible for women athletes from a small European nation to outperform their entire male population. I think there should be absolutely no excuses for them if Czech female records prove to be better than their male records. Btw, [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] is how the Yemenis look like this is the first picture that came up on Google search LOL.

Also, Yemen is a country where sports are popular as you can see [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] under the section 'sports'. They have a lot of football clubs and stadiums like these ones where track and field can also be done, so they have all the infrastructure needed to participate in athletics:
[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]
[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]
Very modern one here, they're investing in sports:
[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

This isn't some underdeveloped backwater when it comes to sports so the excuses that they aren't into sports or don't have the conditions to train don't apply here. It's also interesting to note that one of the most famous boxers ever Prince Naseem Hamed was of 100% Yemeni ancestry. He was a really small guy at 5'4.5'' but got a lot of attention due to his trash talk and persona.

Furthermore, water sports are also popular in their country, like it says in the article:
The coastal areas of Yemen and Socotra island also provide many opportunities for water sports, such as surfing, bodyboarding, sailing, swimming, and scuba diving. Socotra island is home to some of the best surfing destinations in the world.

Considering this there should be absolutely no excuses if they lose to women in swimming competitions other than Czech women simply being athletically superior to them.

Again, we're only going to compare facts and things that can be measured objectively.

Athletics

[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]
[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

100m sprint goes to the Yemeni males, 10.90 vs 11.09

200m Jarmila Kratochvílová wins for Czech women with 21.97 vs 22.73!

400m Jarmila Kratochvílová is murdering Yemeni males LOL another win for her, she has a record of 47.99 here which beats the male Yemeni record of 49.21!

800m Yemen
1500m Yemen
3000m Yemen
5000m Yemen
10000m Yemen

Men almost always seem to do better on these long runs. Can the women recover?

Half marathon Yemen

Marathon Alena Peterková has a record of 2:27:00 which beats the Yemeni male record of 2:40:41 which was set by the Yemeni Olympic athlete Mohamed Al-Saadi

400m hurdles [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] beats the recent Yemeni male record with 52.83 vs 53.34

High jump Yemeni male record of 1.95m smashed by the Czech woman [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] with her 2.00m record.

Pole vault 3.40 m for Yemeni males... This gets CRUSHED by [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] with 4.76m!

Long jump 6.55m for Yemen vs 6.89m by [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] way back from 1982. Another win for the Czech women.

Triple jump 14.17m for Yemen vs 15.20m by [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] for Czech women who are better again.

4x100m Yemen barely with 42.96 vs 42.98

4x400m Yemen too.

60m indoor sprint [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] wins with 7.24 vs 7.32.

200m indoor Czech woman Jarmila Kratochvílová with 22.76 over the male record of 22.95

400m indoor Jarmila Kratochvílová destroying the Yemeni male record again, 49.59 vs 51.34.

800m indoor Yemen wins as their Olympic star [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] is keeping them in this

1500m indoor Yemen again

3000m indoor Andrea Šuldesová has a superior record with 8:49.15 over the Yemeni male record of 8:54.71 from the Asian championships in 2016.

12:11 for the Czech women who are superior in athletics!

Swimming

[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]
[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

50m freestyle Yemen
100m freestyle Yemen
200m freestyle Yemen

Their star swimmer [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] wins these three records for Yemen

50m backstroke 34.07 for Yemeni men but [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] (wow what a beauty) beats that with 27.89!
50m breaststroke 38.98 for Yemeni men [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] is superior with 30.31!

It all comes down to...

50m butterfly [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] has a record of 30.53 but [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] is clearly superior with 26.49!!

3:3 they're tied in swimming

Couldn't find weightlifting stats...

OVERALL SCORE

Yemeni men ♂ : Czech women ♀ 14 : 15 (individual events), 0 : 1 (sports)

Czech women asserting their athletic superiority over the male population of Yemen!

The records of top male athletes from Yemen are crushed by feminine and girly blonde girls like Simona Baumrtová in the picture above.

Conclusion

Those facts are extremely embarrassing given the views that many men in the Yemeni society share about women, a total humiliation in fact. Keep in mind that the Czech women are by far not the only group of women population they would lose to, in fact the Yemeni men would get completely destroyed if I compared their records to top American or Russian female athletes.

The records of the events are close but ultimately the Czech women edge it. I couldn't really believe it myself when I saw in how many disciplines Czech women hold a better record than Yemeni men. Considering the smaller size of population of Czech republic this is extremely impressive and proves that Czech women are some of the most athletically gifted females out there. This is why I also love the mixed wresting productions from Central Europe which feature a lot of strong and athletic Czech women.

Thx for the stats you give but the competitiveness in some sports depends on the number of people practicing it in a country and the proper possibilities to do it. Installations, technical knowledge, nutrition, health etc...

You take here some countries belonging to the last 10%
In terms of GDP per inhabitants, where very few people practice these sports under good conditions, when they can get decent food. That is pretty rough no?

I bet Dubai men are awful at sports as well and the GDP and nutrition there certainly isn't an issue.

I posted basic info about sports in those two countries to show that they're not significantly underdeveloped when it comes to sports. Particularly Yemen has solid infrastructure with huge stadiums with a nice track for athletics. Who do you think that is for if not for the development of their athletes. They didn't build that for nothing so obviously they care about sport and invest in it. Their athletes have all the possibilities they need.

Also, we're talking about athletics here and not Formula One. It's not exactly a science. I mean in some way it is when it can come down to details at a very high level, but most of it still comes down to natural raw athleticism.

Keep in mind that those two countries both have around 30 million people, if they were more athletic than Russian/Czech women surely some freaks would pop up eventually who would be able to beat those female records without needing to be spoon-fed to success. Yet it didn't happen so we can assume that they simply aren't more athletic than those women. In fact, it seems that those women are more athletic than them.

There are a lot of poor countries which regularly produce great athletes. A lot of great athletes grew up in rough environments and didn't have great conditions to train immediately. On the other hand you have rich and stable countries that never perform well despite investing a lot of money.

If the Yemeni men actually competed side by side with Czech women and lost in a similar way in which they lose when their top records are compared, they wouldn't find any comfort in what you're saying. They would be completely humiliated, especially given the attitude of their society towards women.

These are the Singapore (one of the richest countries in the world) national weightlifting records:

[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

To sum it up, I have name, weightclass and the weight of combined total summed up here:

Charles Pau M 56 kg 110 kg
Lim Zheng Xian 62 kg 177 kg
Ian Wee M 69 kg 222 kg
Derrick Kim M 77 kg 255 kg
John Cheah M 85 kg 254 kg
John Cheah M 94 kg 265 kg
Scott Wong 105 kg 306 kg
Lewis Chua M +105 kg 316 kg

Those men had all the money and possibilities to pursue their dreams as Olympic weightlifters and to dedicate as much time as possible to their sport.

Now watch them get completely emasculated by the national weightlifting records of Russian women:

Svetlana Ulianova 48 kg 188 kg
Svetlana Cheremshanova 53 kg 201 kg
Marina Shainova 58 kg 237 kg
Svetlana Tsarukaeva 63 kg 255 kg
Oksana Slivenko 69 kg 276 kg
Natalia Zabolotnaya 75 kg 296 kg
Tatiana Kashirina +75 kg 348 kg

[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

Men and women weightclasses mostly don't correlate but they don't need to because Russian women from much lower weightclasses still lift more than bigger and heavier men from Singapore! This is simply a total domination by Russian women, it isn't even remotely competitive.

The gap is so big that you just can't deny that men from Singapore are simply weaker.

Another victory for the Russian women over a smaller and weaker population of males somewhere else on the planet!

Here are the Ukrainian women national weightlifting records which also beat them:

Iana Diachenko 48 kg 183 kg
Iulia Paratova 53 kg 211 kg
Yuliya Kalina 58 kg 235 kg
Nataliya Skakun 63 kg 247 kg
Nataliya Davydova 69 kg 255 kg
Iryna Dekha 75 kg 260 kg
Olha Korobka +75 kg 300 kg

Added after 26 minutes:

These are the Singapore (one of the richest countries in the world) national weightlifting records:

To sum it up, I have name, weightclass and the weight of combined total summed up here:

Charles Pau M 56 kg 110 kg
Lim Zheng Xian 62 kg 177 kg
Ian Wee M 69 kg 222 kg
Derrick Kim M 77 kg 255 kg
John Cheah M 85 kg 254 kg
John Cheah M 94 kg 265 kg
Scott Wong 105 kg 306 kg
Lewis Chua M +105 kg 316 kg

Those men had all the money and possibilities to pursue their dreams as Olympic weightlifters and to dedicate as much time as possible to their sport.

Now watch them get completely emasculated by the national weightlifting records of Russian women:

Svetlana Ulianova 48 kg 188 kg
Svetlana Cheremshanova 53 kg 201 kg
Marina Shainova 58 kg 237 kg
Svetlana Tsarukaeva 63 kg 255 kg
Oksana Slivenko 69 kg 276 kg
Natalia Zabolotnaya 75 kg 296 kg
Tatiana Kashirina +75 kg 348 kg

The infos you posted are widely unsuficient. A small wikipedia paragraph stating that football is the most popular sports, that you can make some mountain bike, or swim in the see if you wish... + two pics of stadium...

It reveals nothing about the culture, the organisation, the detection methods of the country.

And even if it is the case:
The USA have a huge population and good infrastructures. They are the second biggest federation in number of member in soccer. They are the 28th nation according to the FIFA rankings.

However the small belgium is ranked 5th by the FIFA.

Does it mean that belgian men are more naturally athletic than american men?

The eastern europe countries have an old culture of track and fields with great knowledge and organisation.
Moreover you take the records which are some extrem data points, some of them established as the sovietic block countries were widely relying on intense doping, especially for women who received high doses of testosterone.

Check the javeline or weight throwing records for women. Czech republic, russia, east germany and ukrain made all of them before 1989.

It is well documented that these nations used testosterone. Your method ignores these facts...
