Verscont: I don’t think that he is her “EX”. The plot of “Lethal Woman” has this guy being sent an island – populated by all women, no less! - to investigate the deaths of several male military officers that were invited to vacation there. Our “Lethal Woman” (Merete Van Kamp) takes revenge after her rapists was acquitted by the officers.

Not a bad flick – and fight scene.

I should really rip that scene from the DVD and post it.IIRC, Shannon Tweed comes to his rescue and kills her. I’m actually surprised that no one has done an X-rated version of the “island of sexy male-hating feminists” thingy.

PS. There is an earlier MvF fight scene in this movie, but our male hero makes quick work of his opponent.

1. Yes, you're right. Image [#1] below shows her 'Ex' who betrayed her. I was sure she took revenge on him too somehow, but I'm not going to watch it through again to find out if or how she did so. For the meantime, I'm happy to concede that the guy in the last fight I posted is the one you see here [2].

2. True, and one of the reasons her rapist was acquitted was the testimony of her unsympathetic boyfriend at the time - which is what resulted in my comment above about him being added to her Hit List.

3. Aww - now you've revealed the spoiler! Yes, as I said in an earlier post, the weak-willed doormat Shannon was very much playing against type here. But she did have a Bloody Big Spear handy.

4. I spotted that M/F scene but skirted around it. Not so much due to my dislike of 'Men Using Weapons to Beat Women' but because it wasn't really a fight. Here it is: He steps up to the Big Scary Karate Girl [3]; turns around and feigns to walk away [4-5]; but instead hammers his rolled-up magazine into her stomach [6-7] followed by a knee to the face [8-9]. She was out cold before even knowing the 'fight' had started!

I don't know the name of this Vietnamese martial art but I certainly enjoyed watching it. The kicks-from-all-angles style fully utilises the flexibility of a female fighter's legs as well as their strength. And special congrats to the actress (most recently seen in Charlize's 'The Old Guard') for clearly doing everything herself.

OK, there doesn't seem to be much mileage in this gorgeous and genuinely-skilled Vietnamese martial artist. So I'll move on without wasting time capturing the rest of her action.

But before we say goodbye, here are a few of her non-kicking moves I'd already taken. Whatever that style is, it seems to include Disarming, Joint-Locking, Arm-Breaking, Face-Busting and Looking Very Scary. But to avoid giving you nightmares in Halloween week, I've finished off with a lovely picture of the actress as herself.

I think the martial art is viet vo dao or something like that aka Vovinam.

OK, back to Europe today. We're on a U-Bahn bahnsteig where a bunch of ruffians are mugging a young female victim (who you can't actually see, but more of that later). If I tried to interfere I'd get short shrift, but it's different for girls - especially if they're sexy - and so this one has no problem borrowing their baseball bat [1-2].

I don't much like weapons-based combat, but some of you might want to see it [3-9]. And I care for women being beaten up by men even less, but I know some members enjoy this stuff [10-18].

But (for me at least) it turned out well in the end [19-26]. As for the victim, I cut around her completely, except for this shot of her white bag creeping in from the right [24]. For now, here's a clearer view of her from a lovely angle [27] and I hope we'll see more of her soon.
