I'm a new member and finding my way around and I have a ton of super material to share on here, but am beginning to wonder if its worth it if I get insulted by the likes of Acalidus...

No body insulted you and trust me "Acalidus" is a very nice guy and please "sleeperguy" keep up the good work as you can see "Anubis" explained that if there is no visual preview it gets deleted by mistake.
