Default Anybody recognise her (early 1980s)?

Just wondering. Don't worry about guessing the source; I know it's from one of those bizarre 'Mondo'-style video compilations. I watched it back when it was first released on VHS, but have only just re-discovered it this week. I just wondered who the large blonde was. She must be from what we now regard as the 'Pioneer Era' because the clip dates back to the early 1980s.

I didn't expect the film quality to be great; and it isn't, of course. But I was pleasantly surprised that it probably looks much better than anything else we have left of mixed wrestling from almost 40 years ago. And there's another batch of images if nobody jumps in with a decent video they'd like to share.

Also, can anybody ID the guy being dragged up on stage to take part in the act? I remember years ago somebody claiming he was a plant (stooge). They said he was her boss - a well-known early producer who just pretended to be an unsuspecting audience member (though I've since forgotten the name of the guy). Thanks.

The scene where the guy gets dragged on the stage was from 'Not the Sex O'clock News'. Hope that helps,

I thought it was from a live show organised by the Joan Wise club.

That's Helene Lustgarten - [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]. The scene is from [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register].

Thanks everyone; just to be clear.

The correct title of the Mondo movie I took this scene from is "The Sex O'Clock News" (without the word 'Not' being in front - maybe you were thinking of the old UK comedy Not The Nine O'Clock News) @[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] ?

That scene does NOT appear in 'Jabberwalk aka This Is America' - at least not in any version of it that is still around today. I guess someone just got their Mondo movies mixed up.

That said, there was a sequel titled "This is America Part 2" which I don't own and haven't seen, so it could possibly also be on that one.

Also, the feature film makers took the scene from a recording of a Joan Wise live event, so you were right too @[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] . Unlike, say, 'The Kentucky Fried Movie', most of what appeared in Mondo movies was documentary footage snatched from elsewhere (though some was faked), rather than being scripted and filmed from scratch specifically for the release itself. That's how both of the above answers can be correct.

And thanks particularly to @[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] for answering the main part of the query by identifying the big blonde lass. I'd still like to know the guy too (i.e. whether he really was a well-known producer back in the day).

Finally, for those who haven't seen the video, I've posted some more stills from it - mainly facesitting - here:

If it's not in part 1, then it's definitely in part 2. I remember cutting and posting it somewhere a long time ago.

That's the ubiquitous jobber known as "Jud" (RIP).

Something I wondered about this clip.. the film quality was typical for it's time, kinda blurry.. but was the guy sitting next to 'Jud' in the front row, 'Tom Jackson' (from old Premier Productions) ?
With the low res, quick cutaway, and dim lighting it was hard for me to tell, but definitely resembled him. Just curious..
Also, if anyone remembers, this clip is narrated by a young Wayne Knight, who played Newman on Seinfeld. It was fictitiously presented as a Cold War mixed wrestling match..
