Re: Something I never understood..
Incest or children stories gross me out, but I'll never ask for them to be removed. Also, I have a rather specific fetish and most stories are not appealing to me.
Anyway, I am puzzled the same as the OP about the big proportion of mother/sister/brother/kids stories. It seems the fantasy is very common. But it also happens when I open PornHub in incognito mode: it suggests lots of incest videos. |

Don't fool yourself into thinking that these suggestions are not justified. These things are being suggested to you for a reason. Take me, for example. There was a time that Google gave me results of femdom stories when I tried to find a certain film. At first, I thought: "Why am I getting this?", but eventually, I started reading those femdom stories on Diana The Valkyrie. I noticed that I liked those stories a lot, but I wouldn't have figured that out without Google. So, Google knew I was into femdom before I knew that myself! That's the thing. You should stop denying the obvious and accept who you really are. |

Re: Something I never understood..
A kid being dominated by an older girl is not just fantasy. It does happen in the lives of some people too.

Re: Something I never understood..
I had from my early teens one thing to fantasize about. That is that girls of 14 or 15 are stronger then adult males.Evn that they fight champs and Superman and win, even kill them with their bare hands. They lift them over their heads or break their backs in a bear hug.Sex was not included in that fantasies.

Re: Something I never understood..
It's interesting that while we're discussing this, Tumbler just decided to ban ALL porn. Aside from the fact that I don't understand why anyone would go to Tumbler now, I think this is the sort of slippery slope thing a lot of us are worried about.

Re: Something I never understood..
I frankly do not understand the logic behind willing to forbid a fictional fetish story for the sole reason of having (fictional) underage characters, but at the same time greenlighting a fictional fetish story featuring violence, gore, torture, rape, bullying, illicit drugs, a plethora of criminal activities and lots of highly questionable, sociopath-like behavior, as long as the (fictional) characters are adult.
Either you find both of them immoral and unacceptable, or you find none of them. |

There's nothing wrong with Zweig, who I believe owns this site, for setting his own rules on what can and can't be said. He can do that because it's his website. So it's not all that slippery. Private platforms do have a right to manage what's OK and what's not OK. - - As far as I can tell, doing 2 minutes of google research, any kind fiction pedophilia is kind of borderline and can get the writer into trouble, but it's a grey area. Does that apply to a story about a 14 year old girl beating up her male classmate in a story? Probably not, cause kids get into fights and that's just story-telling. Does it apply to a 14 year old beating up her step dad? . . . . it's a little safer if you make her 18. That said, I'm working on a story where one of the lead characters, the protagonist, leaves home at 15 and becomes a full time dominatrix at 16 - which she uses to pay her way into college. I'm not into the youth aspect personally but it's her back-story and characters need back-stories. Most of the story takes place in her 30s. That said, if I ever publish it, I might change that from 16 to 18, or I'd at least seek out advice on the subject before I try to sell the story. On the one hand, I think writing should be free and not subject to censorship. People should write what they want. On the other hand, I totally get the OP's point about not wanting to read about 14 year olds . . . so I'm on the fence with this one. I hate to come down in the middle, but it's where I come down. But if anyone is interested, my quick google search came up with these, the top answer to one says "yes it's legal to write stories" the other "no, it's a gray area and you can get into trouble". I'd recommend being a little bit careful on what you write - my 2 cents. [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] Now, I know that a 14 year old kid beating up Superman isn't pedophilia and I'm not trying to say that it is, but somebody else who reads that story might choose to see it that way. Sorry if I'm getting soapboxy. I do that sometimes. I don't think most of the people here write to offend an audience or push social barriers, they just write for fun. If you want to rock the boat, write about 14 year olds. Write what you want, but there is some merit to the OPs request and I say that as someone who enjoys reading stories about 14 year olds. 14 is a great age to write about, it's the age of sexual discovery and teenage angst and first dates and first periods and all kinds of stories that explode off the page. 14 is fun and complex and lots of great things, but on a website that's kind of sexual like this one, the OPs request has some merit. 9 or 10 are also fun ages to write about, first kisses and spin the bottle and Hollywood has no shortage of 10 year old or 12 year old crushes or first dates in their stories. The sexual nature of this website makes it a little bit of a gray area. So . . . I'm on the fence. Not sure where I come down on this one. |

Re: Something I never understood..
Privately owned sites like Tumblr have the right to decide what material to allow. When it comes to the law, I believe that only material that results in harm to real people should be illegal. Allowing the fact that some people might find it distasteful to justify making material illegal is an unjustified limitation on personal freedom, and is potentially setting a very dangerous precedent. I once saw a newspaper article on the internet talking about men who paid to wrestle women, and in one of the comments someone said how disgusted they were and that such activity should be made a criminal offence. Do we really want opinions like that to decide the law? In my view, such opinions are just as ignorant and narrow minded as homophobia.
